Ashoat
OK, this time the cPanel developers tried a fix to our problem that ended up causing even more issues. Again, I'll keep you guys posted as I work on Stevie's issues.

Ashoat
How come I don't see this on other servers with cpanel installed?Because they don't have almost 10,000 accounts. It's a scalability issue.
JcX
So this time the problem is on cPanel rather on hardware issues / semaphores ? The problems we're facing seems increasing -.-
Mark Wilding
So this time the problem is on cPanel rather on hardware issues / semaphores ? The problems we're facing seems increasing -.- Is this problem related to the 403s we've been seeing so much of over the last few days (as noted in http://www.helionet.org/index/index.php?showtopic=3879)? Or is this another issue relating to running so many accounts on the one server?
Ashoat
I'm not exactly sure, but the .htaccess issue can be fixed by CHMOD'ing to 644.
Wizard
I'm not exactly sure, but the .htaccess issue can be fixed by CHMOD'ing to 644. Did someone do $ chmod -R 700 / or what?
Ashoat
Nevermind about that... the real solution is to CHMOD your public_html directory to 755. This is being caused by Apache not behaving as if it were being run by nobody. It's accessing all files as "other".
firzenr
I can't even access any files xD .
Ashoat
The problems should all be gone now, anyways.
firzenr
The problems should all be gone now, anyways. Not for me...I'm still apparently using all my disk space, I can't access my file manage (says there was a data error), and there's weird problems with the stats bar... Wizard
Uhh this place seems to be having a few problems.. not looking too stable... From The Official Etiquette Guide: - When you post, make it in-depth. Never just say "I agree" or "Good idea." Describe your idea. Say "I agree because..." or "Good idea. I think..." We want to hear a developed opinion, not just a short statement. Two or three word posts aren't really contributing anything to the forum. - Don't just go through every topic in a forum posting in each one. Most people will find it hard to believe that you actually have something important to contribute to a topic if you post all over the place.
