[Solved] Dns Trouble?

Hello,

Since two days my main-url (http://www.stamphaus.nl) stopped working -> page cannot be found.

It is registerd as an addon domain.

The other addon domain (http://log.stamphaus.nl) is still working fine...

Is there something wrong with the DNS entry or something?

Best regards,

R. de Vries

oh, and in addition: the direct link (http://stamphaus.heliohost.org/stamphaus.nl/) also works fine so no trouble with the site content itself.

It seems now that there's a litte more trouble following this post...

I'm now getting the message that my account is suspended AND when I press the button 'Renew account' and enter my cPanel user I get the message:

"We're sorry, but we either could not find that account in the database, or it is not listed as inactive. Please contact an administrator if you feel this message is in error."

The account itself (at Stevie) is not even a month old and I last logged in about half an hour ago so I guess some misunderstanding is causing this? Could you please help me out?

Thanks again / Best regards,

R. de Vries

You were suspended for filling 44% of the /tmp partition. I'm sure Krydos knows what this is about in case your not sure why it's happening. I'll escalate this to him and I've went ahead an unsuspended your account.

Yes I'd like to know. I'm not aware of doing any 'heavy stuff'.

I was

- connecting my facebook and twitter account to my Wordpress environment through the Jetpack plugin (which indeed didn't go smoothly / resulted in blank pages)

- creating a couple of SSL-keys (to check if not having SSL possibly was the issue)

After a couple of tries it worked.

Thnx,

Well, as the suspension note said your account was suspended for filling 44% of the /tmp partition. When one user overuses this partition it means that other users and other system services are unable to use this partition because it is full. To prevent an account from continuing to cause a disruption to all the other users on the server the problematic account is suspended until the owner of the account is ready to fix the problem. If the owner of the account fails to fix the problem the account will probably just end up getting suspended again for the same thing. One suggestion on how to fix this issue would be to use a tmp directory in your own account's space such as /home/stamp/tmp instead of the system wide shared /tmp directory. This way if your scripts run wild and fill up all available space only your account will be affected, and you won't end up getting suspended.
