When i back up my whole home directory it was only 228 MB of size, but on the cPanel meter it is 322 MB. I don't know where the rest of the MB is going. Please help me to solve this. If you got the backup as .zip file, did you unzip the contents and check the full size then?I believe backups are compressed in size, that's what might confuse you. wolstech Posted March 23, 2016 Share Posted March 23, 2016 The backups are indeed compressed. The space meter also includes things that aren't files, like MySQL databases.
