Johnny Localhost

The issue affecting the use of 'localhost' versus '127.0.0.1' to connect to MySQL on the Johnny server has been fixed. If you're unaware of what this post is about, Johnny got conked on the head pretty hard and forgot what localhost meant. We have gently reconked Johnny's head and reminded him. The fix for this was simply to use 127.0.0.1 instead, but some users don't know how to change this. Now using either MySQL host option should work.
