[Solved] Smtp Problem When Connect To Yandex

Hello

I can't use Yandex Mail smtp server. I think heliohost blocked Yandex or the port or I don't know. I can use Yandex Mail smtp server on localhost and email client but not on heliohost.

I get everytime this message: Connection timed out

We dont block any email providers that I'm aware of, though some providers are known to have blocked us in the past. Also, their server might require authentication to use (most do), though a timeout isn't usually an indication of bad credentials.

 

Yandex could have blocked us since our servers are often abused for spam and phishing. Even though we remove the abuse quickly, it can take time to be unblocked.

 

I'll escalate it to verify we aren't blocking anything.

You'll have to talk to the Yandex people then.
