[Solved] Suspended/ Inaccessible Stevie Account : Petem

I am pleased to see that Stevie is feeling better !

 

I believe that I had renewed my account in early December following receipt of a notification email.

I then discovered that Stevie was down and so made no further attempt to login until today when I read that Stevie is now, at least partially, recovered.

When I attempted access today I received the message that my username and email are not present in your database.

The last time I had tried this a few days ago, while Stevie was down, I received a notice that my account is on Stevie and that therefore I could not proceed.

 

I would be most grateful for your advice as to how to proceed- I would happily migrate my account to Tommy, but while travelling I do not have access to a backup.

I hope that you will have been able to make a backup of my data and that you can provide access to that, so as to be able to create a new account on Tommy.

Many thanks guys - on further investigation I found Byron's post to find Stevie backups and I am greatly relieved to discover that I am one of the lucky ones - I am currently downloading the backup.

So I suppose that I just need to recreate my username and main domain on Tommy and proceed from there.

Do please let me know if there is anything I need to pay attention to in this process- otherwise I shall expect to be able to proceed and garner any extra guidance from the forums.

Please just let me know that this is the correct way forward and I shall mark this topic as solved.

You're correct. Just sign up on tommy when you can manage (the signups are filling in seconds lately), then use the contents of your backup to rebuild the site.

If you don't want to wait/hope you get an account at midnight UTC, you can also donate $1 or more and get an invite emailed to you that lets you make an account even when the server is full. The invite comes to your Paypal or skrill email, usually within 24 hours of donating.

If you get an error about a DNS entry existing and needing to be removed, let us know and we can remove it for you.
