I was working on the file structure trying to make the URL without the /wp. However, I made a change to the default file structure and now I get the oops message. Some things are still visible like the pictures however all the context that I had created is gone. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for your reply. I did install using softaculous to install word press. I then did some work on my website. I had created several pages, posts published and now when I go back, all I get is "Oops! That Page Can’T Be Found". The top menu is still however when I click on any item on the menu I get;

"Not Found

The requested URL /about/ was not found on this server.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request."

I read somewhere that there was an index.html file. I added that, no change.

One more observation, the information is still there it just will not display when I try to view the site.

I am not too familiar with wordpress, but I believe all of the data is stored in the database. You could just backup your database, delete the entire messed up directory/file structure, reinstall it, and then restore your database.
