  1. Hi, I'm trying to make a change to some of the translations on my Prestashop based site. When I try to access the page that lists out all the strings and would allow me to change the text, I get the following area. Warning! Your PHP configuration limits the maximum number of fields allowed in a form: 1000 for max_input_vars. Please ask your hosting provider to increase this limit to 1137 at least, or you will have to edit the translation files. This is my account information Server: Tommy Username: huabaoco Are you able to help me with this? Thanks
  2. I might have to use Tommy then (?). I've googled this and many Prestashop users are having this issue (not specifically on Heliohost).
  3. I'm trying to use Prestashop 1.6.1.17 on Ricky and noticed an issue using the admin site. I noticed that there are pages that load multiple tabs and fail to completely load therefore I am unable to complete many critical functions (like saving). Looking at the logs, I'm seeing the following error. Link to database cannot be established:SQLSTATE[HY000] [1203] User ****_**** already has more than 'max_user_connections' active connections The issue seems to be that Prestashop is using more resources than MySQL provides. I don't believe there is a way to configure the number of allowed connections, correct me if I'm wrong. Has anyone come across this issue and has a recommendation. Thanks
  4. That's a very reasonable recommendation that I failed to follow properly. I simply backed it up through cPanel but failed to download it. Does this mean that all (the database), has been lost?
  5. The only backup I have is the only sent to me through email. I don't know how to have access to Ricky anymore. I might be a bit confused with how the username and emails are connected. My first account on Ricky was named 'huabao' (the backup sent to my email shows that name). I also created a new account on Johnny name 'huabaocollection' has suggested. Both use the same email though. Am I still able to access 'huabao' on Ricky to change the settings or export the db or make a new backup?
  6. I understand Ricky went down for maintenance in Jun, but I only recently noticed and want to restore my backup. I installed an instance of Prestashop and spent a lot of time configuring back on Ricky so I don't want to lose any of that. I requested and downloaded the backup. I created a new account on Johnny as suggested in the email and I'm trying to restore it. Upon extracting the backup, I am able to find the `public_html` folder containing Prestashop files and the `huabao_pres720.sql` file. However the `huabao_pres720.sql` file is only 784 bytes and contents doesn't seem to contain any of the data. So in short I am trying to backup the database of `huabao.heliohost.org` on Ricky and restore it on Johnny. Can you help? Thanks
  7. Thanks. That did the job! I still don't understand it, but I guess that's a question for another day.
  8. I had a fresh install of Prestashop and yet when I visit my page it doesn't work, rather my browser just downloads a file call `download`. The file contains the contents of index.php. This same issue occurs when I try to visit the Prestashop admin page. My domain is huabao.heliohost.org on Johnny Anyone have any idea or leads I can look at? Are there logs I can look at? I read in another thread that sometimes Johnny fails to process .php pages, could this be a possible reason? Thanks
  9. @Krydos, haha I think you've convinced me. Maybe I don't need something that heavy weight, at least to start. I'll have to investigate other options (I'm going to try Prestashop, wish me luck). Thanks
  10. 756MB does seem excessive. That's quite unfortunate cause Magento does serve a good purpose for us. @Krydos, I'm not running any plugins. This error appears immediately after a fresh install. 256MB definitely seems more reasonable, but I think that might only apply to v1.6. Where did you see this requirement? Looking at Magento 2 requirements says 2GB... that's pretty high. I might ask Magento support, but I'll want to troubleshoot myself first. I also read that there is no way to access the terminal in case I want to trigger re-indexing manually, is that correct? Thanks
  11. Hello, I have an instance of Magento 2.1.6 installed and running on the server. In my Magento Admin screen I'm getting the following error (which manifests on the website as updates not appearing). One or more indexers are invalid. Make sure your Magento cron job is running. Tracing the error, I've found the following message in my error logs. [2017-05-23 05:26:02] setup-cron.ERROR: Your current PHP memory limit is 128M. Magento 2 requires it to be set to 756M or more. As a user with root privileges, edit your php.ini file to increase memory_limit. (The command php --ini tells you where it is located.) After that, restart your web server and try again. [] [] This looks like the cause of the issue. Any ideas how to fix this? I've read a few threads on the forums that say that in order to increase the PHP memory limit, moderators will need to change it on request. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks
