Ok. I deployed a spring boot app with JDBC connection to my db on heliohost using Render (https://render.com) and I had some issues with it. (By the way, this is why you get AWS IP.) Now, I understand why, I didn't realize that Render was trying to open so many connections at the same time. I contacted them to understand why it does that and I'm still waiting for their response. Since I'm on training with others, we must be 3 or 4 to have made the same mistake. I didn't realize it was causing such a load. I'm really sorry for the trouble. We'll find another way. All of your accounts opened 40-75 MariaDB connections and never closed them and essentially caused a denial of service attack on our server which caused downtime for thousands of other users. This news post is about you Personally, I don't think you deserve a second chance. Why not use AWS to host your databases since all of the 40-75 connections were coming from AWS IP addresses anyways?

I think I know the reason of my suspension. I created an account with clementguio@gmail.com. I told a friend about you and he was interested. He tried to create an account but never succeeded. I used another mail of mine, cguio@laposte.net, to create an account for him. I wasn't thinking about your terms at this time. Later I told him to change the mail account to separate his account from me but I'm not sure he really did. I'm sorry for violating your terms, my purpuse was not to own two accounts but to help someone to create one. If it's necessary, you can delete cguio@laposte.net account. Each user can now open a maximum of 10 connections to MariaDB on Johnny and Tommy. Back in 2021 and earlier we had a limit of 3 connections on Johnny and 6 connections on Tommy. Tons of people would write bad code that doesn't ever close database connections and then they would hit the limit and complain to us about the errors. The forum and Discord were full of messages like, "The reason you can't open any new connections is because you already have 6 open connections that have all been sleeping for hours without even doing anything." When we switched to Plesk we decided to do an experiment and leave the connections unlimited to see if people could be responsible and not abuse our generosity. It worked well for 3 years, but in the last 2 weeks one person on Tommy and three people on Johnny have (probably unintentionally) launched a denial of service attack on our MariaDB databases causing hours of downtime for thousands of other users. So, the time has come to enforce a limit again. A few bad people always ruin the fun for everyone else.
