I watched the "news" forum and saw nothing so I want to make sure, my server is dead again, is it a known maintenance or a non-scheduled failure? Thanks

Changed and sent an email to gmail, no good, got a failure email. Do I need to do something else in between updating hosts and sending an email?

I can't edit the file /etc/hosts , I get a red caption saying that the file is unwritable. And now Gmail is not working with stockdiv also with non-ssl saying: Connection Error. Server returned error "Connection refused". When I try to connect to vestacp, I get: NO LANGUAGE DEFINED and I can't log in. On the net I saw it is related to disk quota problem and how to fix it but when I try to edit the relevant file, again I get the file is unwritable. Also, disk quota entry is already unlimited. When executing df -h and df -i I see some 100% with some folders... Thanks

I unchecked the SSL checkbox and changed the port to 100 in adding-a-new-account window in gmail and it works. It's definitely something with the SSL but not sure what because the ssl checker site seems to report that everything is ok

Nevertheless your message appears to be sent from stockdiv.com. That's the difference, I have a vps and I do need it up and running... and the emails... well, no need to explain I fixed myself whatever I know myself, this is the last thing to do and Krydos can fix it in no time (like he did in the past) and it's frustrating that instead of spending that minute to fix it, I'm thrown to the end of the line. It's been almost 48 hours, where all I need is 1 minute. In the meantime, I'm locked out. I'm biased but I think my frustration is justified.

There is no tone on the internet, just text. I'm writing out of frustration, not anger nor something similar. Do you own a VPS?

I just hope you realize the effect of locking me out of my email... The real thing here is that fixing it will take Krydos 2 minutes...

I second what you wrote, even explaining me what to do (just like I managed to fix the other issues myself) will be a solution for me. Now I'm locked out. On the other hand, last times, Krydos fixed this kind of things in minutes, I guess writing me what to do will take him more time

For me, stockdiv.com's ping is still down. update: ping is back, site is up, war/tomcat is down and it looks like the name was reset to vps13 instead of the domain name so I changed it back. I tried to /opt/tomcat/live/bin/startup.sh and I see a lot of tomcat in htop so I hope soon it will wake up... One last thing about the gmail thing. I just sent an email with the subject "last email to gmail" Do you see anything about this email in exim/mail server? An error? a warning? a delay? anything? Thanks
