  1. Uh, thank you. Did I already tell you that other email address before? Or was the donation just "easy to spot"?
  2. Hello. I've donated 5$ so that I could be put higher in line for the Plesk transition (I was on Tommy originally, btw). The donation is associated to an email address that's different from the one of my HelioHost account, but I'd prefer to not post it here publicly. Can I tell it in private to an admin? Thanks.
  3. Wait where should we vote? I vote for Java >_>
  4. Thank you, but... Sorry to disturb you again, I noticed that the app wasn't logging in its log file so I fixed the thing, and also added an utility endpoint for myself. Can you please deploy the .war that's in my root directory right now? 😅🙏 Thank youuu
  5. Hello, yesterday evening I saw my .war was undeployed but I was already in bed so I decided to sleep and check again today, but it's still undeployed. Please deploy it for me >.< My name on Jhonny (originally on Tommy) is also "cridus". Thank you.
  6. Thanks, and sorry if I also opened this thread, I thought my messages in discord weren't being seen.
  7. Hello, you've undeployed my .war because you thought it's affected by the "log4shell" vulnerability, but it's not. Please re-deploy it now. It's been 4+ days. Thanks.
  8. Hello, my SLL certificate expires in 3 days, so I'm renewing it. I've put the new certificate files (ca_bundle.crt, certificate.crt and private.key) in my root folder ("/home/cridus"), can you please install them for me? Do tell me if I need to do anything else. Many thanks.
  9. Thanks. But anyway, since 9 and 10 are feature-equivalent and the only difference is the package name of the Java EE libraries, which will break the compatibility for a lot of people, why not use version 9 for the time being? It's not like it's a "worse version". It might actually be the better one right now.
  10. Shoot, I've looked up how to migrate to Tomcat 10 but I need a new version of my framework which will come in 2022... I'm screwed. Tomcat 10 switches from javax libraries to jakarta ones. It breaks the compatibility with frameworks that still use javax ones. I've read that Tomcat 9 is feature-equivalent to v10. @Krydos Do you specifically need to upgrade to v10?
  11. Hello, I use Java on Tommy so I'd like to be moved to Johnny until the Tomcat upgrade is done. Will my account and settings be identical once on Johnny? Or will I have to set up something? My username on Tommy is still "cridus". Thanks.
  12. Done, I've updated the app's main framework, added two configs for TLS 1.2 and now it works. It deployed.
  13. Ok thanks, I'll try to switch to TLS 1.2, later today.
  14. Edit: disregard this post (not the entire thread, just this one post).
  15. Hello, I'm on Tommy and my java application won't deploy because it fails to connect to the MySQL database on startup. By looking up the error that I have in the logs, it seems related to the TLS implementation used by the client. Have you guys updated Java recently, by chance? Maybe now I need to update it too and re-build my app. Here's the error: Caused by: javax.net.ssl.SSLHandshakeException: No appropriate protocol (protocol is disabled or cipher suites are inappropriate)And here's a StackOverflow question about it: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/38205947/sslhandshakeexception-no-appropriate-protocol
  16. What do you mean? I don't think it was stuck 24 hours ago. But I'm not sure either. Edit: nevermind, I've tried re-deploying again now and it succeeded.
  17. Hi. As it happens from time to time, my .war isn't deploying on Tomcat for some reason. Usually it's Tomcat itself needing a restart, I think. Can you guys please look into it? Thanks.
  18. Okay thanks, now my app deploys. Oddly, I tried deploying it a few minutes ago and it failed, but I tried again now and it deployed in only 20 seconds. Welp.
  19. Could this be the cause of my application (a .war) not being able to connect to the database anymore? I dunno. I'd prefer not wasting any of the admins' time by opening another thread if this ends up being the cause of my problem too >_>
  20. Oh, well, Java was already active though, it disabled itself after a few days. Thanks anyway, I see it's enabled now.
  21. Ok, but I'm pretty sure that I had enough activity on it. Nothing has changed from the usual... Also, shouldn't I at least receive a notification email about it? I received none.
  22. Hi, I'm on Tommy, you guys migrated my account back from Johnny a few days ago. Everything was working perfectly, but now, a few hours after the last time I've used my site, I found Java disabled on my account. I've pressed the button to request it again. Can you please activate it again for me so I don't have to wait in the queue? >.< Thank you in advance.
