I just noticed a typo, its PostGIS not PostgreSQL which needs to be updated. Any news on this subject? This renders PostGIS from JSON useless.

Is it possible to update PostgreSQL? Unfortunately the 2.3 version seems to have been compiled without JSON-C, hence using JSON generates errors. And a happy new year!

I would like to request access to the following databases & schemas for the user "gbanhudo_remoteuser": Databases:gbanhudo_statisticsgbanhudo_gazeteerSchemas:gbanhudo_geometries.wof (though the access to the DB has already been granted in this thread, access for the schemas must be given by hand) As for the schema, here lies an example of the problem. The solution then consists of employing the following: GRANT ALL PRIVILEGES ON ALL TABLES IN SCHEMA wof TO gbanhudo_remoteuser; Thanks in advance and sorry for the extra work

Unfortunately this is not true for Schemas, as for some reason custom schemas other than public reflect in unauthorized remote access. Here is an example on this situation. Is my alternative using the public schema?

From what I've been reading in similar threads, external access to a DB (in my case, for inflating data onto a DB programatically) has to be requested. With this in mind, I am then requesting remote access to the *****_geometries database, belonging to user: ***** _remoteuser

I believe that the Best for beginners is in fact Ubuntu,yet,Red Hat and Fedora are awesome (not for newbies though) !
