  1. Nope, it still shows 250/250 MB. The only change is a slight increase in the "Other" category (to 212 MB).
  2. It says 250 / 250 MB and the bar is full red.
  3. Thanks. Unfortunately it finds nothing. (It does work, it finds all my index files fine)
  4. You might want to check your site for core files. Core files meaning what exactly? I only cleared out the log files themselves via the new file manager.
  5. Hey! I'm having some problems with the amount of space I have for the site. Actual site components (Images, scripts and databases) only take up about 35 MB, but the "Disk space usage" stat shows as maxed out at 250 MB and specifically 211 MB in the "Other" category. I can't for the life of me find what is eating up all that space and as such can't do anything about it. Some info that may be related: I had some problems a small while ago with the php script phpThumb (creates thumbnails from pictures), which flooded the space with error logs.I have cleared those out and will either fix the script or replace it. My username and domain name is cmmdb
  6. I seem to have a similar problem with cmmdb.heliohost.org. Is there a reason for the deletion (that I was not notified or warned of in any way)? Or was it accidental? Or something else? Probably deleted due to inactivity. When was the last time you logged into cPanel? You know, that's a good point. I don't remember the last time. Not that I abandoned the site, I just used a specialized system I scripted myself, only using cpanel to fix bugs in that system. Actually, waitasec, last backup is from 1/15 2010 so that's when. If the cause is inactivity(Which wasn't really inactivity, just cPanel-inactivity), would re-registering be out of the question?

  8. When i connect to control panel it gives me this message. See you soon Peppe Same for me. License file for cpanel seems unvalid or corrupt Yep, either a port problem (Slim risk) or that. verify.cpanel.net lists the license as valid and active.

    MEGA Downtime

I break out in a cold sweat every time heliohost goes down, because it almost always does after I've made a change to my site and I somehow always get the idea that I'm the cause... I must stop being so egocentric Nick2008: Nope, everything's back to normal now. Welcome to Heliohost!
  10. Hey! So my Heliohost site is up and running smoothly, but not optimally. As visits increase, I've been getting errors regarding exceeding the number of allowed MySQL connections. So I looked up a snippet and adapted it to my needs. Question is, since I can't really see the amount of current MySQL connections in a way that I'm aware of, would this snippet theoretically do the job?Did I adapt it correctly? I include this wherever I need a db connection(Most every page) and call GetMyConnection(). (fatal_error() just dies with an image attached) <?php if (!isset($g_link)) { $g_link = false; } function GetMyConnection() { global $g_link; if( $g_link ) return $g_link; $g_link = @mysql_pconnect( 'localhost:3306', 'usr', 'pwd') or fatal_error("Could not connect to mysql server.<!--".mysql_error()."-->" ); @mysql_select_db('db', $g_link) or fatal_error("Could not select database.<!--".mysql_error()."-->"); return $g_link; } ?>
  11. Nope, it doesn't work yet. Yeah, error on my part for the file name.My linux is a little rusty but I'm pretty sure what's needed is "patch -b remove_bom_characters_from_swedish_translation" in PMA's root directory. That should patch the file and create a backup "lang/swedish-utf-8.inc.php.orig" just in case. man page: http://linux.die.net/man/1/patch Thanks for taking the time to do this, much more responsive than other webhosts I've used, I must say!
  12. Apparently it was something rather simple to fix though (A stray Byte Order Mark in the beginning ofswedish utf-8 language file "lang/swedish-utf8-inc.php" ) so even if it isn't the newest, could a fix be implemented? (Patch) (Pretty please sugar and so forth )
  13. I don't know how much work it would be, but it might be time to upgrade from 2.11.5.1 to the new 2.11.6 . I posted a message on their forum, they'll probably let me know (loudly ) if it's been fixed. EDIT: Apparently, it has been fixed in 2.11.6! So it's a matter of upgrading, dunno how much work that is though, as I said..
