  1. This support request is being escalated to our root admin. Johnny suffered a major crash in October and we haven't gotten around to installing or updating most software packages on him. You can wait for us to install PIL on Johnny, but if you're pressed for time you're welcome to move your account to Stevie which has PIL installed.
  2. Your account was suspended for inactivity, because you haven't logged into your account in the last 30 days. To reactivate your account, please visit http://www.heliohost.org/home/support/scripts/renew. To prevent this from happening in the future please remember to visit http://heliohost.org/ to log into your account at least once every 30 days. If you are still seeing the Account Suspended page after renewing your account, please clear your cache.
  3. That account was logged into earlier today. Did you figure out what was happening?
  4. Your domain now shows a bunch of PHP errors, so I'm guessing time was the answer here. Strange that hostgator content showed up even after your DNS records propagated though.
  5. This account has been suspended for violation of our one account per user policy which is clearly stated during the creation process of each and every account on Heliohost. A common misconception is that you need a separate account for each website that you want to host, but since Heliohost differs from most free hosts and even most paid hosting by offering unlimited addon domains, unlimited parked domains, and unlimited sub domains one can easily and conveniently host as many separate websites as they wish all from your one free hosting account. If multiple accounts were created to get around our disk space limit we strongly suggest using a free service such as dropbox to host your large images, videos, and downloads while continuing to host your website with us if you wish. If you understand that each user is only allowed to have one active account please let us know which account you would like to use and it can be unsuspended for you. Also let us know if you need backups of any of the data on the other accounts, and if there are any domains on the suspended accounts that you would like to host on your main account because we will need to remove them from the suspended account before you will be able to host them on your unsuspended account. For example: user1: unsuspend user2: backup user3: backup, idontreadrules.com user4: thoughticouldgetawaywithit.org
  6. Both accounts show as active in the database, co.cc domains no longer work, so that may be why you think they're suspended. However, since you brought it up...
  7. Your account was suspended for causing high server load. I have unsuspended your account, but please try to limit the load you put on our servers as it slows down not only your site, but the sites of all other HelioHost users sharing your server. If you still see the suspended page, please clear your cache.
  8. You were suspended for causing high server load. Caused 1137% more load than second highest load account. I asked about your cron usage in IRC because cron takes up a fair amount of resources, so it was one possible source of your load. If you only ran 1 job then your rails generate gcm_migrations might not be suitable for a shared host. I hope you get to the bottom of whatever it was that happened. Your account should now be unsuspended, if you still see the account suspended page try clearing your cache.
  9. If someone tried that they'd only serve to block their own IP, If multiple people try and fail to access an account multiple times then the account gets locked, but it's only temporary. having the system you mention would be bad because then we'd basically be just as well off without a brute-force system.
  10. The script checks for accounts that have not been created, once the account exists in our system the script will say it doesn't exist/can't be found, something like that. But you'll be able to log into the account. You should have received a second email telling you when the account was created. Try using that cpanel url to login to your account, I'm sure you'll find it works and you have a shiny new hosting account.
  11. Your account was created 21 hours ago which is less than the 24 hours one could expect to wait before the account queued page disappears on its own. If after 24 hours you still see the account queued page try clearing your cache. If you still see the account queued page after clearing your cache please let us know and we'll be glad to help.
  12. You were suspended for running 3 cron jobs in a day, the limit is 2. Please limit your cron usage or look at using a service such as setcronjob.com. Your account is now unsuspended, if you still see the account suspended page try clearing your cache.
  13. I think that issue comes from a bad connection in your case. I tend to get the same error on Johnny when he's under high load, but haven't really noticed it on Stevie.
  14. Your account was resuspended for failure to take care of the malware problem during your allotted 24 hour period. The offending files have been deleted, and your account has been manually unsuspended. If you still see the suspended page then you should try clearing your browsers cache.
  15. It sounds like cPanel is thinking you're session-jacking yourself, are you using a laptop and going from one location to another keeping the same page open? It might also be that your library's ISP is a little crazy with it's DHCP services.
  16. Sounds like you're being blocked by our brute-force protection, I suggest you stop trying to log in or reset your password for the time being and come back to it later. If you post your account name, domain and server we could check for you and perhaps reset it.
  17. shoopg Johnny 913sb.heliohost.org shoop Stevie 913Gaming.heliohost.org There's also the registration emails, but I'm sure you wouldn't like me posting those. The account shoop has been unsuspended. If you still see the account queued page try clearing your cache.

  19. That account isn't suspended, most likely you've used a large amount of FTP connections and our system blocked your IP.
  20. If your site has a giant marquee thing, it's working. Try clearing your cache.
  21. Your account was suspended for the following reason: Malware. 2 file(s). PHP.Shell-42 FOUND That means that there are some malware files found on your account. For your safety and to protect your website from potential further corruption the account has been suspended. To find the infected files we recommend making a backup of your site, download the backup file to your computer, and scan the backup using a reputable virus and malware scanner. If you're having trouble locating the offending files please ask and we can provide more information. If you are you certain that it is a false-positive, we strongly encourage you to file a false positive form here: http://cgi.clamav.net/sendvirus.cgi Your account should be unsuspended now, but keep in mind that this is a temporary unsuspension. You have 24 hours starting at the time of this post to clean your account of any and all malicious files or your account will be resuspended. Your old password if you can remember it should work now. Suspensions scramble user logins so account access is denied, preserving the state it's in.
  22. Glad your question got answered! Please spare a few minutes to take our brief survey: http://feedback.heliohost.org/ Your participation in this survey is greatly appreciated.
  23. log into cpanel click Remote MySql type in an IP that will attempt to access MySQL remotely click Add Host set the hostname to stevie/johnny.heliohost.org in your remote database connection script I'm not going to spam a bunch of screenshots for a fairly simple procedure, but a list is easier to understand than a paragraph perhaps.
