  1. I'm interested in what could be causing this, I tested in Chrome so I would expect Safari to work since it's WebKit based same as Chrome. It's true that IE's habit of going non-standard routes causes a lot of quirky problems with site navigation and layout, but I've never noticed it to break logic in forms. At least we now know what browers and versions to not use heh.
  2. Ok, the survey has been deactivated, suspended and unregistered domains have been removed from the contest, leaving 56 entries to judge.
  3. Like Krydos said earlier, yours is a unique case, usually our system would suspend an account using gobtons of resources and then most the time the user tries to blame our servers/us for their bad code's issues. It's nice seeing a user with enough sense to realize their code and the amount of users they have could cause a problem and work to minimize their account's resource usage before they reach that point. At some point there might be a need for you to look at getting a paid VPS, but if you have 7000 unique users and a fair chunk of them paid for your software that really shouldn't be an issue. In the meantime we're glad to give you somewhere to host your software and work on the fine-tuning.
  4. An admin can give you an exact time or reset it for you, a few days would probably do it. We've had cases where weeks of wait would be involved but it doesn't sound like that's the case for you.
  5. Sounds like you're being blocked by our brute force protection system. Stop trying to reset or log in for a fair amount of time and then try again. The amount of wait-time compounds with each failed attempt.
  6. I'll try getting some system setup to automate the site checks for next year, I seriously got more homework this semester than the last two combined, and my db class last semester gave a lot each week, so while I looked in now and then I wasn't going to catch everything. That's my fault. The under construction sites aren't too bad though, if the users want they can remove that page and open up their site to be judged fairly as long as it's before the end of the month.
  7. Thanks, I've got list of domains that need pruning, but I'm waiting till tonight to remove them. It requires deactivating the survey temporarily which may cause problems while someone is using it. I noticed the slow response time from the db while checking responses, but it's not something I can control unfortunately.
  8. Please post the following information: Your cPanel username Your main domain
  9. Is this still happening for you? I just tried and the captcha worked. The database error is most likely high load or MySQL being temporarily down, I'll check for error logs. EDIT: I don't see an error log,so if someone gets an error please describe it, as far as the security question goes, I'm not sure what caused it to break for you, I could remove it if it remains troublesome but I feel better with it on for bots.
  10. Any reason in particular why? We need to consider the reason before making a decision.
  11. Your account was suspended for causing high server load. I have unsuspended your account, but please try to limit the load you put on our servers as it slows down not only your site, but the sites of all other HelioHost users sharing your server. If you still see the suspended page, please clear your cache. A third high load suspension will be permanent. An exact file name cannot be provided, it was some wacky PHP script so I'd double check any .php files if I were you.
  12. The size of your databases count towards your 500MB disk quota, therefore you do not have unlimited db storage. That's an interesting thought, to do that you need to go into the Remote MySql tab in cPanel and add the IP of the webserver you use as an allowed host. Then in your connection script use stevie.heliohost.org or johnny.heliohost.org as the hostname and everything else should remain the same.
  13. http://www.heliohost.org/home/support/scripts/delete or just use http://www.heliohost.org/home/support/scripts/domain.
  14. It's a trivial script, but it's more of a gimmick than a functional script. If more people reply and think it'd be nice to know what cpanel sees as your last login we'll do it, but there's other more purposeful scripts in the works right now.
  15. Glad your question got answered! Please spare a few minutes to take our brief survey: http://feedback.heliohost.org/ Your participation in this survey is greatly appreciated.
  16. Your last login was today so you apparently already renewed your account. The three preferred, and easiest, ways to login and not think about having your login counted are: http://cpanel.julis.heliohost.org/ , http://julis.heliohost.org/cpanel/ and as Sove mentioned, the login at http://heliohost.org is the most reliable. I don't get why you want to be cute and send request information manually, or even figure out how it's processed by the server, just use the standard login URLs we give you and make use of the service. As for where the last login date is stored, it is overwritten every time you log in and there's no way for a basic user to access it if that's what you meant by: There's a reason for inactivity suspensions, so don't try it.
  17. If you actually read through the Suspended/Queued forum you'd realize we're very lenient with the unsuspensions. Particularly inactivity, if you become inactive you can fix it yourself with http://www.heliohost.org/home/support/scripts/renew. The only time we refuse backups is for suspended users who go through their three strikes not doing anything to fix their site's problems or with illegal activity such as phishing or storing/using copyright material.
  18. I don't recall Stevie being down over the last two days so it's probably a firewall issue. Check your machine's settings and punch a hole in port 2082, or check your router and do the same, if neither of those work then it's your ISP. The easiest fix is to just login through http://cpanel.bertb.tk/ which runs on port 80.
  19. If your friend wants a backup of the account he can get it and create a new account, but only one of these three can be unsuspended.
  20. The account drive14 has been suspended again and erick14 has been unsuspended.
  21. Glad your question got answered! Please spare a few minutes to take our brief survey: http://feedback.heliohost.org/ Your participation in this survey is greatly appreciated.
  22. Your account no longer exists, feel free to recreate. The 48 hours are fringe cases, account deletion and creation both cause load so we queue them rather than have the system instantly do everything at once, so if server load happens to be high the queues stop going through as fast. Generally deletions take a few minutes at most but there are times when the queue gets backlogged hundreds of accounts because inactive and suspended accounts are also queued for deletion. Since you want to switch servers you'll still have to wait to get on Stevie, the signups are closed. Keep an eye on http://krydos.tk/sign-up.php to know when signups reopen.
  23. The account drive14 has been temporarily unsuspended, reply when you finish backing it up.
