majazac...windows always has security issues. but you have to disable the windows firewall. or change the security scale, it's in your control panel. myscrnnm II, give us reason to switch to tiger OS. I would say that's a waste of money and time. Flexibility, options, and using windows and open source software (sometimes) are unavailable options to mac users. Web development is restricted and programming as well. You have to BUY extra software. and BUY special video cards that really suck and you have to pay premium for them.

Revolution. Have you heard of the recent crashes with xbox 360? anyways i would actually get ps3. free internet gaming and games are just as great. i only wanta revolution for the mario games!

get itunes, and NOT buy a video, then just add the video to the library in itunes.....then viola.

refurbished hardware is okay it's usually cheaper, but it doesn't come with everything most of the time. If it's a harddrive, sure. Video card...not so great. and processors...eh you'll have to buy a heatsink/fan for it.

with today's living standards in america, it costs a lot to hire people to design and develop these processors.

if you have an empty agp slot, you might as well get a graphic card that has a tuner built in....it will only improve the quality of your TV or movies or whatever you're going to watch.

in linux you can switch from gui to non gui if you want. See the things is, if you want gui, they both have it. if you want both..only linux-like systems. if you want only command line, linux works. Linux is more customizable to your needs

gui or not doesn't make one OS better than the other. no gui is just for the low-level user that wants things done.

i have a KVM switch myself. I just press scroll lock twice and it switches the monitor to a different computer.

retro games had more play into them than todays games tha are full of graphics to drag you away from the actual gameplay. What makes a game good to me is that the actual play is can entertain you, with or without good graphics.

im just getting an Lexus IS300 from my dad. It's in great condition and will still be when I get the car in a little over 2 years. The car I want to buy when I get the cash would be a Altezza (same thing, but much simpler) with stick shift and what not. My dad got an automatic T.T....no fun.
