I had this problem too, this fixed it for me: (on your site in WinSCP) Advanced... > SSH > Authentication > Disable Attempt GSSAPI authentication BTW, cPanel states and invalid port:

Due to trying to login to SFTP a few times yesterday after thinking my account was created, my IP has now been blocked. Username is lounger and IP is like removed I hope this is enough info for you to find it as I don't want to post my IP Thanks in advance.

It looks like I was able to pick the name again, then after 2.5h wait I was able to select Ricky and create a password. Now however, it keeps going back to That account has been backed up and then taken offline... and it wants me to create an account again...

Hey there, Back again, hoping my deactivated username can be freed so I can register it again. Username: lounger E-mail: lounge******@gmail.com I'm not sure what server I should pick when I'm creating a new account, and if that choice affects my username at all. I still have all my data, so whatever there is left of it can be destroyed. Thanks in advance!
