Just a paranoid check -- I signed up yesterday (about 34 hours ago, username 'hermetic') and received the automatic registration email, yet I still can't login to cPanel. Is the account in the activation queue, or was something botched when signups closed? Thanks, and good luck with the DDOS issue.

Well I think --and I suppose the other members are of the same mind-- downtime is quite tolerable if it means getting SSH access. The shell is always a good tool to have, regardless of how useful cPanel is.
