  1. Hi! I want to use my e-mail (gomgo@gomgo.heliohost.us) to send and receive e-mail, how do i login in the e-mail. i use Windows, so use Windows Live Mail is my option, but is impossible, windows live mail is actuatually discontinued and impossible to use, so i can't use it, i tried to send me the instructions, but i don't receive anythingh, i tried to use the webmail with roundcube and horde, but i get 500 Error, so i want to use the e-mail, what can i do?   2. I have created a new email id on my account. First time it worked fie and opened in browser without any error. I have also setup the id on my android device using blue mail app. But for the last two days i am getting a error on opening the mail id using https://johnny.heliohost.org:2096/ it logs in to mail client and the shows the following error on this link https://johnny.heliohost.org:2096/xxxxxxxxxxxxxx/3rdparty/roundcube/index.php I can successfully send and receive mails using my device but not on web mail. I have deleted and recreated the account but the problem remains same. Ps: My other two mail id's are working fine. Please help.
  3. I had a problem my mail servers and thought this was solved but apparantly isn't. I have a static IP, but using the static IP or tommy.heliohost.org as mail server still give the same results. Anybody is using heliohost with pop/smtp settings? I can retreive mail on POP port 110 (unencrypted) Secure incoming mail port 995 is refusing connection outright even tried with putty and connection is terminated immediately on the smtp side port 25 and port 587 are open but are expecting an ssl connection to authenticate.   6. Hi Heliohost, My username is Zekus. I am using Tommy server. I cannot send mail from Outlook/Gmail/Mailgun SMTP, which is working with my local WAMP. This is the error I received.   8. There were an error: Could not connect to SMTP host: mail.divyansj.gq, port: 465, response: -1 This is the error shown when my java servlet tries to connect to my mail host.   10. 1) There was restriction of 50 outgoing mails per day before - is this changed somehow today(on Tommy)? Does autoresponder considering as outgoing mail? Are there any restrictions about incoming mail quota too? 2) I've setup my HelioHost mail account so it will forward mails to my Gmail account, but the copies are saved on HelioHost end - is there anyway to disable that option, or perhaps remove them automatically somehow? 3) (not really HelioHost related question) I'm trying to find a way and hide the original HelioHost IP when sending an email. When I send email from my Gmail account(not as username@gmail.com, but as username@mydomain.com), instead of Gmail's, there's HelioHost IP and info inside the sent mail headers. Is there anyway to hide it(not really to hide as none, but to show Gmail's for example or some other)?

  13. Thunderbird seemed to be unable to sync with IMAP/SMTP settings, so I tried to switch over to Outlook 2013. Using the settings: Username: [name here]@twinklecode.org IMAP server: stevie.heliohost.org (Port 993) SMTP server: stevie.heliohost.org (Port 465) Both were set to SSL. Server is Stevie. Outlook 2013 will test the login and send a test email; both tests pass. It then synchronizes all the subfolders (Junk, Drafts, Sent, etc.) of the inbox but not the main inbox itself. Is there some setting I need to change somewhere? It's kind of bad when you can see all your emails except the ones in the inbox. Thanks!

  18. Dear sir, I added a domain www.nirmalacorp.com about 3 days ago. The domain showed up after 24 hours. However mail.nirmalacorp.com still shows the "setting up" page. I tried clearing up the cache but it does not work even now. Further when i try to login to the email account, roundcube does not recognise the email id, horde does not give me permissions, whereas i am able to login using squirrel mail. Mails are successfully being sent and recieved using squirrelmail. I am lost as to what the problem is, and what is taking so long to setup the subdomain. ~Rahul Krishna

  20. Hi! For months I have had a page on my website that has a contact form. When you submit it, it emails me the message to my yahoo account. As of today however, I get a Mail delivery failed: returning message to sender message in my helio email acount. It states this: If you received this error message, your message was not delivered because Yahoo was unable to verify that it came from a legitimate email sender. Yahoo uses three industry-wide authentication checks to verify that that emails are truly from the domains they claim to come from, and your email failed one or more of them: DKIM (Domain-Keys Identified Mail) SPF (Sender Policy Framework) DMARC (Domain-based Message Authentication, Reporting and Conformance) These standards are designed to eliminate an email user’s exposure to potentially fraudulent and harmful messages, and they have been adopted by all major email providers and many technology companies. I have no idea what this means, or how to fix it... All I know is NOTHING HAS CHANGED at least on my end...   22. For example, the HelioHost server is hosting the domain named "example.com". And the e-mail "report@example.com" under that domain name is handled by other popular mail server, as the MX record of "example.com" is mail handled by this mail server. When I use the other email, for example as "mail@other.com" to receive an email from "example.com", this email can recieve a mail from it. But why the email "report@example.com" couldn't receive a mail from the server of "example.com"? I also try to receive a mail using the other email that is handled by the mail server that's the same as the mail server of "example.com" and it's still recieving email from the domain.
  23. Most free web hosts have limited sending of emails.. Some of them have limited sending to 1 email per hour. Now, what is the SMTP (Send mails) limitation of HelioHost? Does it have limit? Or it is unlimited or what?
  24. On the "email account forwards" page on cPanel, it says: "Note that the forwarded mail will still be delivered to the original address as well." However, this is not this is not happening for me. The mail gets forwarded, but the email does get delivered to the original address. Is there a way for me to fix that?

I have the default addresses per each domain listed as the mail@domain.tld for that domain. Interestingly enough, it used to work when I did not have mail@domains.tld configured to forward from each domain. Rather, I had the catch-all addresses listed per domain in the Default Addresses set to the final destination addresses (3rd column above).
