[Solved] Question About Pointing Dns

Hi I know it's a little complex but could anyone please provide me the help then.

I Had a hosting account at Heliohost.

I'm owning a domain name (let's say example.com with godaddy registrar) which is pointed to freedns.afraid.org.

I want to use freedns to make my domain available for the others to share but I still want to use example.com (secondary level) for my own.

So about DNS server of the domain then it still like this

ns1.afraid.org [50.23.197.95]

ns2.afraid.org [174.37.196.55]

ns3.afraid.org [72.20.15.62]

ns4.afraid.org [174.128.246.102]

But I pointed example.com to helionet.org by adding A record of the domain example.com to 65.19.143.3 which is the ip address of ns1.heliohost.org. Wait for a moment then when type http://example.com It seem that the domain was point to helio host properly since I've seen the HELIOHOST ACCOUNT QUEUED page. Next then I've come to heliohost CP and using add an Add-On domain function to my hosting account but for a long time nothing happen then the http://example.com just stll point to HELIOHOST ACCOUNT QUEUED. ( yes I've cleaned the cache and flush the DNS eachtime do the testing).

What should i do now would you please help me out. Thanks a lot in advance

The IP you use is most likely incorrect. You have to use the IP where your domain name is located, not where the nameserver is located.

To get the right one:

- you can either find it inside of cPanel, in the left column in the row labeled "Shared IP Address";

- or using some DIG - in example in here: http://heliohost.grd.net.pl/dns-checker/ - find the IP in the DNS records existing on HelioHost nameservers;

- or you can just ping the *.heliohost.org subdomain assigned with your account (if you have one).

For websites on Johnny this will be usually 64.62.211.131, for websites on Stevie this will be usually 216.218.192.170. But NOT always! Various accounts/domains may be pointed to various IPs of these two servers, especially Stevie has a lot of them.
