Hahli Posted October 14, 2012 Share Posted October 14, 2012 Hello. I just created an account this morining, and it turns out my brother created one with the same email a long time ago. As a result, when trying to recover my password(which I forgot. D'oh!), I recovered my brother's password instead. My account is Silent, and my bro's account is Hahli. I would like to request, if possible, to completly delete both accounts at both cPanel, forum, domains, and whatever traces they might leave behind. I submitted Silent for deletion(as I later discovered FireFox saved my passowrd), but I was unable to do the same for Hahli. I can't login to cPanel, yet I can post. Once both accuonts are deleted, I would like to create a new one and use that(partially because I need a new sub-domain name). danny0000d Posted October 15, 2012 Share Posted October 15, 2012 Well, since firefox saved your own accounts password you can delete it, and since you have your brothers account password that was sent to you can also delete unless your account was on johnny the you would need to ask one of the admins to delete but if you have an account on stevie then you can delete it yourself. You can also change your current subdomain without deleting your account by going tohttp://www.heliohost.../scripts/domainthen putting in your cpanel username, password and new subdomain (you will need to included the domain where the subdomain will be registered)I am assuming you remember your cpanel password if not then delete your brothers account and do another password reset for your account and that should work. It won't let me login it to cPanel and claims that it's inactive. I also can't delete it for the same error. And yes I do beleive it's on Johnny, but I am not sure. (emphasis added)Your forum account and your hosting account are completely separate from each other. You have "Hahli" as a forum account, and "Silent" as a hosting account.
