Googles way better, they invented a thing that searches the phrase u enter not just the words, then orders it occuringly. tongue.gif

pretty sweet

also i found this thing with google translater, if ur at school or work and theres blocked sites u can use google translator, fiddle with the address abit and translate ur blocked site from english to english. the firewall thinks its a google page so its not blocked biggrin.gif

its great

I just found out that Yahoo uses google for all their searches. Also, there is a new search engine out there called CHA CHA, still in beta thought. Check it out. www.chacha.com

Firefox is a communist illusion.

Google is expanding too much. A jack of all trades is a master of none.

Well there is nothing such as yahoo or google as the best. If u consider for the information then they are but if you consider it for songs or downloading of softwares or anything else then Emule 0.47c and Limewire pro are the best. Google can be considered for the best showing result search engine. sleep.gif

Look, google and yahoo are search engines which display results. They don't have any downloadable files of their own. They just have records of who does. Limewire pro and emule are p2p software in which files are transfered between users so there is no comparison.

Why are people after search engines though p2p softwares are leading. Well yahoo and google have a competition among them these days and most people in their daily lives are using these 2 search engines. sleep.gif

Search engines are used when you are not sure which site will give you the information youre looking for and p2p software are only for downloading stuff so they both are good and both of them should be used

For sure i agree to your opinion, altavista needs to improve in order to get into competition with yahoo and google. sleep.gif
