dogsbody
Fine and dandy Byron, i'm able to log in to cPanel now. Don't know if i'm missing something obvious but how do i go about restoring my backup, as i read that it can't be done from cPanel?
Byron
You'll need to extract the backup tar.gz file on your machine. First extract the tar.gz to a .tar file. Then extract the .tar file and you'll see a file named homedir.tar. Take that file to your cpanel Backup Wizard. Once at the backup wizard click Restore, then click Home Directory. Then you'll be given the option to upload the homedir.tar file. Once it's uploaded, (and this could take awhile depending on how large the file is and your internet connection) it will extract all of your files automatically.
