Plays MP1, MP2, MP3, MP4, MPC, AAC, OGG, FLAC , WavPack, WAV, AIFF, AU, SND, CDDA AND WMA, and only takes up about 1MB and a very small amount of RAM! Kyougi Posted July 23, 2007 Share Posted July 23, 2007 Foobar was great on a Windows machine. My new favorite player is a combination of the Music Player Daemon, which allows you to play common music files (MP3, Ogg Vorbis, FLAC, AAC, Mod, and wave files) and edit the playlist both locally and remotely. Combined with the Ncurses Media Player Client, it's the most lightweight music player you can use as it takes barely any storage space as well as RAM. Still like Amarok, though.
