Have you logged out and in after changing the password? When you change the password in cPanel, you need to log out and in again before the newly set password will take effect and make PHPMyAdmin start working again,

I changed your password to log in to your account since you asked for help fixing your phpmyadmin. That's why you can't log in.

Phpmyadmin is now fixed. Your temporary password has been emailed to your contact address.

If you're curious the reason phpmyadmin stopped working was because you deleted your tmp directory.
