HelioHost Posted September 2, 2017 Share Posted September 2, 2017 We finished August financially strong, and it looks like we made $33.23 over the cost of running our servers. In July we gained $18.62. That may not sound like a lot, but it's a small victory for us and a strong indication that we're heading in the right direction. Since April of this year we've been making these news posts every couple months to let you all know how we've been doing. In 2015 we lost almost $2,500 dollars, and in 2016 despite a strong December we still lost almost $5,000. So, the fact that we're positive at all, even if it's a small amount, is a great relief to us. Breaking even means we'll be able to continue providing our free hosting to tens of thousands of happy users worldwide. Positive means we can expand and upgrade our servers. We're hoping to release our newest server, Ricky, in the next week or so, and we have another server after that on the horizon too. As long as we stay positive like this we can use the extra money to buy more servers, and upgrade our existing ones. Donations are the best way to help support us, but we understand that not everyone can give us money. We're a free hosting service so the majority of our users found us because they can't pay for their hosting. Just because you can't send us any monetary support doesn't mean you can't help out though.
