But when I try to add this domain "mishra.work" as an addon domain it shows the message (XID fx8hwf) The domain “mishra.work” already exists in the Apache configuration. However, the domain "mishra.work" is not appearing in the addon domain list. However, I am trying to add "ipsita.mishra.work", "umakant.mishra.work", "soubhagya.mishra.work" as addon domains. A significant portion of (i.e. most) domain adds fail on Johnny in my experience. It's caused by the server being severely overcrowded. Ricky and Tommy don't have this issue. When we rebuilt it, we switched to a virtual machine model, meaning Stevie is the hardware, but the VM that does the hosting needed a name, so we called it Ricky. Then the remaining disk (also 10 years old...) went bad after 3 months, so we re-disked the server and rebuilt it again, keeping the Ricky name. It's the same hardware with new hard disks and much newer software.Stevie (hardware) contains Ricky (VM).Charlie (hardware) contains Johnny (VM).Eddie (hardware) contains Cody (VM) and Tommy (VM). (Cody is the server that holds the hosting management system, this forum, our wiki, and our website).I would recommend moving to Ricky or Tommy if you can. You can move by deleting your Johnny account and signing up again at midnight UTC. Registrations for Ricky are usually open for several hours every day. Tommy fills within minutes. Or, if you donate (we could use it, we're over $100 short to cover the costs of operating for October), we can just move your Johnny account for you without deleting and signing up again. I was trying to add "umakant.mishra.work", "ipsita.mishra.work", "soubhagya.mishra.work" etc. but it shows domain already exists. Feeling very frustrated. please solve it out. (XID ndf9w6) A DNS entry for “umakant.mishra.work” already exists. You must remove this DNS entry from all servers in the DNS cluster to proceed. Krydos Posted November 14, 2017 Share Posted November 14, 2017 The reason they're not showing up as addon domains is because you already had soubhagya.mishra.work and the other two added as subdomains. Generally if the domain is just something tacked on to the beginning with a dot then it's a subdomain. If it's something completely separate from your other domains it's an addon. So you had things set up correctly. Since you've been having such trouble with all of this I went ahead and deleted your subdomains for you, and readded them as addon domains like you want.
