[Solved] My Ip Is Blocker Because Of Your Fault In Updating Correctly Password

First of all, I can't use the administration panel to upload a whole folder (or at least documentation in this direction is very under what could be considered a reasonable location), which forced me to try filezilla. Nevertheless, I created an ftp account with a certain user and password and it simply didn't work with filezilla. I tried many times changing the password and trying again, with various combinations of possible logins and ports, and nothing. And now you block my access to my administration panel and MY content because of your fault? That is unnacetable, really disapointing!



This sadly proofs heliohost is FAR from the level of reliability that I would want to store my personal data, even cryptographed, because now I know I can suddenly be blocked from having access to it! Such a shame.

Unblocked.

 

You were blocked because you tried to log in to ftp with the wrong username or password too many times. To prevent yourself from being blocked in the future please be sure to use the correct username and password. Don't just guess randomly.

 

Use these settings:

 

Host: johnny.heliohost.org

Port: 1373

Protocol: SFTP

Logon type: Normal

Username: moonland

Password: <same as cpanel>

 

Please note that your username and password are case sensitive.

I thank you very much for the prompt response. Nonetheless, for future events, I have to call your attention regarding the fact that the host and port that were provided in the ftp section of the management panel were completetly differente from these you gave me right now.

The host and port that are provided in the ftp section of the management panel are provided by cpanel, not us, and they don't work for everyone. We always recommend the sftp settings I provided because they are much more secure, and work for everyone who has a client that supports sftp. I'll let cpanel know about your complaints.
