Hello there,

My account was suspended, but i have no idea why. I read the terms and rules and didn't break any of the mentioned ones, afaik.

Would be awesome if anyone could look into that please and let me know what the problem is.

On my account i installed:

  • PhpBB
  • piwik
  • UberGallery

and i have 2 MySQL databases.

Kind regards,

mfx

Your account was suspended for causing high server load. I have unsuspended your account, but please try to limit the load you put on our servers as it slows down not only your site, but the sites of all other HelioHost users sharing your server.

If you still see the suspended page, please clear your cache.

If you need help figuring out why your site is causing such high load let us know and we can try to help. If the high load is simply because your site is getting a lot of traffic you might consider trying paid hosting from our partner starting at only a cent for the first month. https://www.heliohost.org/partners/hostgator

Hi Tjoene,

thank you very much for the fast support. I am sorry, my site has caused this issue.

Currently my site does get almost no traffic yet, as i am still in the process promoting it.

So yes, please, i could indeed need help to find out what was (is?) causing a high server load, so it will not happen again.

Is there a way i can find out myself? If not, it would be very appreciated, if you could snoop around and let me know what the culprit was, so i can do my best and fix it, if i am able to.

Thanks :)

I can login via ftp again, but the website still ain't working.

I think i read in other 'suspended' threads, that it can take up to 24h until the site works again, yes?

Since the server is so new it wasn't set up to track high cpu/memory usage yet so I'm not sure where the load was coming from on your account. I can tell you that your account was the highest cpu usage when it was suspended. Your account is currently causing such a small amount of load that it doesn't even register on the monitor so I guess you fixed whatever the issue was. Feel free to check in occasionally and we can check your load for you.

Hi Krydos,

actually i did not change/fix anything, because my site is still not working :(
And i really have no idea how my site could have caused much cpu usage, as it gets ~10 visitors/day.

Could anyone please check, why my site still isn't working yet? I also tried to load it in a browser i never used before to access my site, to make sure it is not a caching issue.
Login via FTP and to cPanel does work, although it is very slow.

Would be awesome :)

Thanks in advance...

You're on Johnny which has been under a pretty heavy ddos attack for the last couple days. Johnny's uptime is never great even at the best of times though. If you want better uptime and speed we recommend switching to Tommy.
