Amoss
I had this problem in the past and it was never solved. I made a new project, made sure index.jsp is inside. I deployed my war, there is index.jps in deployed resources->webapp folder but when browsing to http://stockdiv.heliohost.org/MyHelioServlet/I get: HTTP Status 404 – Not FoundType Status ReportMessage Not FoundDescription The origin server did not find a current representation for the target resource or is not willing to disclose that one exists. What am I missing? Thanks

Krydos
Did you follow the guide at https://wiki.helionet.org/Java_Servlet ?
Amoss
The project name has to be "MyHelioServlet" and the package "org.heliohost" or this is just for explanation purposes?
Krydos
The project name can be whatever you want.
Amoss
Thanks, followed the instructions with several changes required by me and all is well! One last question: Since I'm still in development, any special instructions for my interaction with Java (on site) so I won't lose it again? Thanks. Krydos
so I won't lose it again?Just actually use it. You can lose it if your account is unused and goes inactive, or if you just don't actually use java at all. If you don't actually need it please let us know because there are people waiting weeks/months to get java access and it's unfair to them to have to wait in line behind someone who doesn't even need it. Amoss
Ofcourse I need it. I just wanted to make sure that I don't have any kind of limitation that will make it go away.
