I was doing a bit of research, and heliohost seems like the best host out there, with a TON of features. However, still kinda thinking it might be too good to be true.Oh yeah, and don't just reply "get paid hosting". Not an option here. Krydos Posted April 4, 2019 Share Posted April 4, 2019 Yeah, we get that "too good to be true" quite a bit actually. If you haven't created an account yet, we have three servers. Johnny is an experimental server. This means he's really only suitable for experimenting. If you're just going to test out some scripts, you're the only person who is going to access your website, and you don't care too much about uptime or speed then Johnny is sufficient. Ricky has less features than Johnny, but has better uptime. The downside to Ricky is, even though he has good uptime, he can be pretty slow sometimes. Tommy is our flagship server. He's got all the features and more of Johnny, even better uptime than Ricky, and he's our fastest server. This is the server we recommend to people when they're done experimenting and ready to run a production website that other people will be visiting. Just get your account upgraded to the Tommy server by making a donation to HelioHost at https://www.heliohost.org/donate/ ($1 minimum) and then post a request in the Customer Service forum for an account upgradation along with the transaction id. Your website shall function super fast with the Tommy server. One more thing, it's rather a warning, please do not post offensive (adult) content or links of such websites on the forum lest you should have your account disabled.
