Donation made on September, 8th via PayPal, transaction id = 676807715S52284OR. Am I right to suppose that DNS settings are automatically adapted, when the account is created?

Sorry for the delay. No one escalated this request to me. There is only one donation on September 8th, and it isn't you. What name did you donate as, how much did you donate, and can you verify the date again? Unfortunately we can't look up the Sparkie fundraiser donations by transaction ID.

@admins: Please send him an invite. He's waiting long. Krydos can verify his donation afterwards.

What do you suggest we do with the account if someone end up not being a donor? Delete it?

Pretty much yes @Krydos. Last time too, this was done. I don't remember when, but someone (most probably wolstech) said that since the person had been waiting long, he be sent an invite. If the donation isn't found, anyways y'all could suspend his account.

As I got an email myself, as well as the printed copies of the transaction documents, that my "sponsor" received, I'm sure that the donation has been made. For the rest, what sense to recreate the account, if I risk that you'll delete it later, because you can't find data concerning the payment?

But, perhaps, the crash of Tommy has deeper reasons. Just a sign, to tell me that it is time to accept, that if you are living in the street, you should live like people living in the street and not try to make websites and write articles and computer programs...

Don't think like that @allu62. It really doesn't matter where you live. It doesn't matter what your financial status is. It doesn't matter whatever it is. It's just your passion and your zeal to learn and make that takes you forward. Don't ever think like that again. I'm sure the donation status is alright. Maybe some fault on the updation part. Nevermind, go ahead and create your account and unleash your skills there. Don't ever get disappointed due to such trivial reasons as this. Best of luck!

The only thing, I am sure of, is that a donation was made (in my name) and, based on the content of the email I got, it seems to be sure that it was made to HelioHost. If they didn't get it, no reason for them to send me an invitation and no right nor reason for me to recreate the account.

I donated both ways, and ultimately it's no difference between the two.  :)

The point is that invites should not be sent until the donation is verified by an admin, no matter how long they wait.

You can bump threads if you wish, but part of the reason Ricky might be so overloaded is alot of unwarranted invites are being sent without it being verified first.

Now, I'm not saying Byron and Wolstech arnt doing their jobs, but everyone here is human, stress is high and mistakes are made.

Patience is key.

The real point is - all other donations except the fundraiser can be verified by an administrators. Since Krydos is in charge of the fundraiser and he's presently busy fixing Tommy, that's why the problem arose. And the other day it was a suggestion given by wolstech itself that the invite be sent to the waiting users, Krydos shall verify the donation afterwards, afterall if the donation is not found the above can always suspend the pretending user. This was none of my personal suggestion, just repeated what I saw. Anyways, one thing to add, HelioHost is based on trust, that has to be from both ends. :-)

Thanks for the invite (and to @sohamb03 for all the help, he tried to give me), but if I look back at the last week, all the hopes, disappointments, uncertities, fears and seeing myself seen by 200 HelioHost users as the one, who tried to get an invitation by pretending having done a donation without having done so ... I think that there is not courage enough left to restart, especially as I fear new problems when asking the transfer back to Tommy or the next time a server has to be rebuild. Sorry, for having stolen your time for nothing. In particular, because I think that all was due to my ignorance, that on the payment page I checked a checkbox that hided my name in the donation document you got. Thanks to the HelioHost team for the year, where my dreams appeared to become reality...
