[Solved] Is DKIM enabled when sending email?

DKIM has already been configured automatically by Cpanel which has already put the key in the DNS zones for my domain, however, when sending emails to another email address, the .eml file does not contain any field DKIM-Signature or similar. Does it have to be added specifically?

Try sending an email to https://www.mail-tester.com/ with some real looking content and then post the url to the result page. The contents of the email will be publicly visible in the report, so don't include any passwords or anything like that.

Here it is. The only real problem showing is that there is no DKIM signature.

DKIM isn't working because you're not using our nameservers. https://bybyron.net/php/tools/dns_records.php?domain=foti.eu&rec=NS ns1.heliohost.org and ns2.heliohost.org.

Yeah, I'm not using the heliohost nameserver but why does it need that? I've added the MX record and the TXT record just as it appears in the CPanel zone editor

https://mxtoolbox.com/SuperTool.aspx?action=mx%3afoti.eu&run=toolpage

https://mxtoolbox.com/SuperTool.aspx?action=dkim%3afoti.eu%3adefault&run=toolpage

I don't know if you remember, but you've actually already replied to one of my questions some weeks ago where I asked some help to configure heliohost as a backup mail server to my domain that still points everything else to another server. I've added my domain (foti.eu) as an addon domain and managed to send and receive emails.

Shouldn't the SMTP server (or whatever it is that stamps the signature) still include the DKIM-Signature? Why would it look for nameserver settings?

Using our nameservers is the supported way to do things. That means we provide support if you do things this way.

Using external nameservers is an unsupported way to do things. That means we do not provide support if you insist on doing things this way.

That said, I was feeling helpful (and a little bored) so I logged into your account. There was a message something along the lines of "cPanel has detected 3 inactive DKIM domains that have valid configurations so they have been enabled." That's not an exact quote, but I tested your email and it seems to be working now. My guess is cPanel detected that you didn't have DKIM set up on your external nameservers at one point and oh so helpfully deactivated the DKIM on your domain. Anyways, here's the report that shows a valid DKIM https://www.mail-tester.com/test-j23wf I didn't actually do anything other than log in to your account and click the "Email Deliverability" button.

My brandnew VPS is running, with Hestia installed. Next step: moving my website (hosted on Tommy) to the VPS. I suppose that this is essentially 3 steps: Create a new domain record, create a new web record and upload the files. Two major questions:
      1. I suppose that HelioHost has to delete my actual DNS records (on Tommy), before I can create new ones?
      2. Must I change server names at my DNS provider's? What are the DNS servers responsible for myvps.heliohost.us? My VPS itself, perhaps?
Another question concerns security. What should I absolutely do to avoid hacking and other problems?
Thanks for answer. And thanks for having the possibility to have this amazing experience, that's mostly complete newland for me.

      Hi admins
Can you explain to me what's going on recently.
      I mean:
What is CPanel and why you chose CPanel in the past?
How CPanel affect your service? (Clarify: Admin Kydros has suffered from some CPanel behaviors)
From your expectations, why CPanel revoked your registeration?
What does Plesk do as CPanel do or don't?
Does Heliohost will be FREE and FOREVER whatever the circumstances?
      What do you say?
Feel free to answer and thanks for the hard work!
You guys are very incredible, I had never saw a free hosting service like your host ever!
Forgive me if anything wrong or violates your rules.
NOTE: Sorry for duplicate questions from another users, my topic was accidentally created
      Sincerely
      Sffreesy

Since a couple of days, I'm unable to connect to tommy through webmail and using web clients (thunderbird). Yesterday, I've tried logging in cpanel with the main heliohost account and I get the following error message
I'm pretty sure my account has not been deactivated, what could be the issue here?

Hello, I have two questions regarding cPanel.
First, I would like to force all subdomains (cpanel.domain.com, webmail.domain.com, etc.) to use https. I have the SSL certs setup through AutoSSL, and I can access the secure version by manually typing in https, but I would like to force this behavior for safety/security concerns. It seems like this can be done using WHM, but I don't actually have a good idea of what WHM (Web Host Manager) is. Is this the software that Heliohost uses to provide each user with their own cPanel login and individual customization? If so, do users have any access to this interface?
Next, I was having issues redirecting traffic pointed to the www. version of my domain name to the non-www. version. In cPanel, I have configured a redirect to match both www. and non-www. that points to the base domain name (https://example.com). However, this redirect only works for requests sent to http://www.example.com. Accessing https://www.example.com does not redirect to the non-www. version. I previously was self-hosting my site, and was able to accomplish this functionality through nginx redirect rules. Is there anything I am missing in setting up this redirect?

      Thank you!
