It appears to work because it logs you out when you dump the cookies as part of the cache clear. If you log back in, it will come back. The issue is usually triggered by replying to PMs on mobile. All you lose out on with an expired license is new version downloads and Invision support. If you do not renew by your expiration date, your software will continue to function.
