esn024 Posted January 27, 2021 Share Posted January 27, 2021 Hello, I'm using FileZilla to backup my site files to my own computer. I want to preserve the timestamps in both directions. They ARE preserved when I transfer from my computer to the server, but not the other way around.I checked the FileZilla forum and someone wrote: Uploads: The same option also applies to uploads, but only if the FTP server in question supports the MFMT (Modify File Modification Time) command. The server account the FTP server software runs under must be allowed to modify file attributes, of course. If the server doesn't support MFMT the answer is ''No''.
