Guys

I see my website is now up & running but i think the autossl is pending thus it is labelled as http:.  Is my observation correct?  Is so a big thank you guys for the months of hard work.

What has happened to the old cpanel.  It looks looks like https://www.heliohost.org/login/ (or url:8443)  is not ready yet or what's the right path to take?   Am i getting it right in this new enviroment?

PS

I just try to get to email using https://tommy.heliohost.org:2096/ but not it says cannot be reached.  All these to try to learn during the period of change .. a good time to learn for novice like me.  Sorry to add more fuel while you guys are still busy putting up the fire protections.

I knew about this '..so long'…I also know that our website in Tommy is moving over to plesk, when done an email will be send to us.

My current thread is my eagerness to find out the latest status after noticing new response in my website, hope you can tell me the latest on Tommy.

If they're expired, you can manually update them if you want. Generate a replacement cert with a service like zerossl, upload to your home folder via FTP (do not place in public_html), and create topic for a certificate install. Krydos can install it manually for you.

Wolstech bro

You ask if I have “ask to have SSL removed or updated by chance”. No, I did neither.

I knew about the Cpanel issue from the start, I then do the following things to track the transition.

  1. Browse the website and its Joomla backend: I see https working until recently when the autossl certificate probably from Cpanel expired.
  2. Access Cpanel: Of course I can’t do it, it look like even the email does not work.
  3. FTP access to the website IP address: I can access the folders and files and did not see any changes to eg htaccess & configuration.php.
  4. Read the news and related threads in Helionet.
  5. Check the status of Heliohost servers https://status.heliohost.dino.services:  I notice Tommy uptime now is only 1 day 23 hours.

My understanding of the process are the following

  1. Krydos will be working night & day to transfer the sites to a different hard disk for plesk to work.  This will be done in stages, I presume, as all servers suffer the same cpanel fate. Thank you Krydos.
  2. An email will be sent to me when plesk is fully working advising us how to access plesk.
  3. Plesk will renew the SSL certificate using its own AutoSSL.

Hence my current thread is prompted by this background.  Hope bro you can correct my understanding & tell me where am I now.  Thank you very much and Kind Regards as always.

@Jenova Last I heard we're not even on step 2. He did number 1 and "Does the transfer process work?" is "No" because the import script Plesk provided was woefully incomplete and from what I've read barely worked at all let alone completely or correctly. K was apparently working on rewriting much of it so it actually does what's advertised.

Has this changed?

You're correct. I got 1 and 2 mixed up. We are still on 1.

Oh no. By the way what is involved in the beta testing .. very curious.

Does it mean my access so far is on the old file system.

Beta testing is basically seeing if the transfer script works, as of now. And yes, your still on your old filesystem.
