Byron
I just installed wordpress and it worked fine. Go back and try it again and make sure you have enough space allowed and that the folder you want to install it in DOES NOT exist.

Byron
When you try to install wordpress it should tell you how much space you have left. Are you showing enough space to install wordpress?
rvt
This is not a problem in terms of physical HDD space on the account. This is a problem with RAM. In short, the Fantastico installer is using more memory than PHP allocated it. You need to change the PHP memory limit either in an htaccess file or php.ini file. Ashoat
WordPress most definitely should not take 128 MiB of memory to install. But okay, since cPanel's PHP is a separate executable I upped the memory limit. I recommend just using WordPress's installer from their website, but Fantastico should work now. Hi, thanks for the response, but now trying to install it again, I get the error. Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 134217728 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 39 bytes) in /usr/local/cpanel/3rdparty/fantastico//includes/enc_check.inc.php on line 378. I really don't want to install it manually, as it seems to much work unlike the one install click.
Ashoat
It looks like cPanel's overwriting my edits to its internal php.ini. You'll have to install WordPress manually.
