HelioHost
Username: N/A, Server: N/A, Main Domain: N/A HelioHost username: dl5ark heliohost server: tommy heliohost main domain: dl5ark.heliohost.org Hello Support, I had donated 15.00 USD to Helio Networks (transaction code 38X461736P951954B ) as dl5ark AT hotmail.com last time on 2021-12-04. Before that I donated to you at least 3 times in 2017, 2019 and 2020. In December 2021 I still saw a number close to 100 at https://www.heliohost.org/eta/?u=dl5ark%40hotmail.com. Now I still don't see the current number. Strangely there is a https://www.heliohost.org/eta/?u=dl5ark with rank 341, this can't be true. My old forum name was dl5ark, but in 2016 it was modified to dl5ark1. My email (and also Paypal) was always dl5ark AT hotmail.com . What is going on here? Thanks for your help, Holger
Krydos
Thanks for the donations. There you go https://www.heliohost.org/eta/?u=dl5ark What's going on is your HelioHost account has a hotmail.de email address and you donated with a hotmail.com email address so they weren't automatically linked. I manually linked them together and you're now next in line to be moved tomorrow.
dl5ark1
Apparently, the ETA has moved from May 14 to May 15. The change to the hotmail.de address probably took place in connection with the Ricky Invitation in 2019. Is it possible to adjust everything back to hotmail.com? dl5ark1
[I am having problems getting old php scripts to run. Is it recognizable which php version was set at cPanel on my site?] I think it was 5.4 with the extension mbstring: @Krydos on October 7, 2019 you Posted: The extension mbstring has been installed on Tommy's php 5.4. Is this extension active?
dl5ark1
Second question: I want to disable "Permanent SEO-safe 301 redirect from HTTP to HTTPS" and use http and https without permanent forwarding. How can I set this? Disabling the certificate did not bring the desired success. After 120min it was activated again (and not valid). dl5ark1
Third question: Under PHP Settings: How can i modify the open_basedir path settings ala https://support.plesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/115000278993-A-website-hosted-in-Plesk-is-not-accessible-open-basedir-restriction-in-effect ? I cannot edit the line.
dl5ark1
Fourth question: How can i disable directory browsing?
Krydos
8 hours ago, dl5ark1 said: I think it was 5.4 with the extension mbstring: Is this extension active? The default PHP version is 7.4. You can change the PHP version by going to Websites & Domains > the domain > PHP settings > Select the PHP version you want from the dropdown box > Click OK at the bottom. Yes, mbstring is enabled on PHP 5.4. 7 hours ago, dl5ark1 said: I want to disable "Permanent SEO-safe 301 redirect from HTTP to HTTPS" and use http and https without permanent forwarding. How can I set this? I'm actually not sure why you can't change that setting. New accounts should be created with both http and https available, and then they can redirect to https if they want. I was able to disable it for you through the admin control panel, but it seems like that should be something you can change yourself. 7 hours ago, dl5ark1 said: How can i modify the open_basedir path settings. I cannot edit the line. That's a security vulnerability. Changing that setting would allow hackers to access files outside their home directory. It was the same way on cPanel. Check the setting https://dl5ark.heliohost.org/basedir.php That means you can access files in your home directory and /tmp, and you can't access files in someone else's home directory. 1 hour ago, dl5ark1 said: How can i disable directory browsing? Normally you could put Options -Indexes, but .htaccess files aren't fully working yet for some reason. I'm still trying to figure out why. For now you can just put an index.html file in each directory to prevent directory browsing.
dl5ark1
Thanks! Is javascript available?
Krydos
20 minutes ago, dl5ark1 said: Is javascript available? Javascript actually has nothing to do with the server since it runs in the browser. If a server is capable of serving html pages it can do javascript too. If you're referring to Node.js which is javascript that runs on the server, yes that is available too.
dl5ark1
My mistake, I was still on https instead of http, clear browser cache and it's fine again.
dl5ark1
.htaccess files aren't fully working this time. In Plesk there is a option "Password-Protected Directories". For example: In the Folder 123 is a Folder 456. Can i Password-Protect 123, but exclude 456 from it?
Krydos Posted yesterday at 05:21 AM Share Posted yesterday at 05:21 AM Try putting "Satisfy any" in the .htaccess inside folder 456. Does it cause a 500 error?
dl5ark1 Posted yesterday at 05:09 PM Share Posted yesterday at 05:09 PM I had to wait a relatively long time before the desired result worked. Perhaps the 120min also apply here, although that is not displayed? Now it runs.
