Kyougi
http://www.1up.com/do/newsStory?cId=3148775 Yay, now I won't have to do work to get my console to work with Linux this time!
HerLoss
I get the whole "because I can" thing, but is there any practical reason for putting linux on a console?
Kyougi
Well, 500 bucks is a steal for a Blu-Ray player and a computer of those specs, and people were going to do it anyway, but I think the reason behind it is, they force people to buy a bundled HDD. Dragonfire
I'm using a simple version of linux, ubuntu. It is quite easy to use and I mainly keep it as a backup os, the actual one that I use being Windows Xp. I first decided to stick with linux and uninstall xp but then after going through a few websites found out that they're really less software available for linux. The best feature is its speed and security and it never gave me any problem since my first use. If you have no idea of how to use linux, then you should get the ubuntu distribution of it as it is really easy to learn how to use it and it is free to download. If you have limited space then [bleeped!] small linux will be the one (but you will have to buy the os).
