  1. Many many thanks for your help, I should definitely call you Boss ;-) Have a nice day/evening
  2. I have removed the .htaccess file and the forum was working correctly, thanks for that. Now I tried to set up a redirection to redirect my main domain: greed-is-good.com/ to greed-is-good.com/forum/ The forum is in a dedicated folder : public_html/forum And I cannot access the forum anymore. Is there any special trick to do to set up the redirection (maybe just to wait for propagation?). Regards, G
  3. Many thanks for the explanation. I was using Wordpress as a welcome page only (almost). I have just deleted all Wordpress files and its database. I have just created a redirection for the main domain to the Phpbb forum which is located in a "forum" directory: https://www.greed-is-good.com/forum/ Should I modify the .htaccess or is this something you want to control? Regards, G
  4. My account seems to be suspended for reasons unknown to me. Can you please let me know why and unsuspend it if possible? HelioHost username: gringoh Server where account is on: Tommy My HelioHost main domain: https://www.greed-is-good.com/ Thank you! Regards, G
  5. Many thanks for your help, I was so focused on potential problems with the sql database that I have completely forgotten the basics. In case it can help someone, concerning the large sql database issue in PhpMyAdmin (limitation to 50 Mg) I have used a tool to split the sql backup in multiple files which then can be imported in PhpMyAdmin: https://www.smekdigital.com/how-to-import-large-mysql-database/ https://philiplb.de/sqldumpsplitter3/ Thanks, G
  6. Hi, I am struggling with my Phpbb forum database, any help would be appreciated. - I have uploaded my files by FTP in a directory: public_html/forum - I have imported my sql backup in PhpMyAdmin - I have edited my config.php file And I cannot connect to my forum, I have an Internal Server Error: http://greed-is-good.fr/forum/ In order to go further and check if I was doing something wrong, I have also installed Phpbb thanks to softaculous, in public_html/phpbb and here it is working fine, but I cannot find where the error is? In the config.php file there are some differences: - Mysql vs mysqli - @define('PHPBB_ENVIRONMENT', 'production'); Even if I change those lines I still have the issue, I also tried to change localhost to 127.0.0.1 Any ideas? Regards, G
  7. Oups, I have just cleared the cache and now I can see my Hello world message from my Tommy server ;-) It sounds ok, What do you think, is there anything more to change?
  8. Hi, Finally, I manages to change my DNS servers at OVH (now I have to wait up to 48 hours for the propagation): In the DNS zone, I have an error saying that I am using Heliohost DNS servers and that I should use OVH ones. From what I understand, I have to set up the Alias in Heliohost Cpanel and then it should be ok (after the delay of 48 hours): Next, I have created the Alias in Cpanel with my domain name: greed-is-good.fr At the moment, when I try to reach my domain it goes to: http://www.greed-is-good.fr/cgi-sys/defaultwebpage.cgi I probably have to wait 48 hours the time for the propagation to be ok… I hope that what I did make sense, your feedback would be great ;-) G
  9. Many thanks for the feedback, I am going to try that and get back to you if (when) needed. Have a nice week-end.
  10. Hi, I have a domain at OVH “myDomain.com” and I would like to have a permanent and invisible redirection to a Tommy server. Is there a tutorial or any thread which could help me to create this redirection? Many thanks for any help. Best regards, G
