  1. Cool! I upgraded to the latest available PHP version and made an index.php to test phpinfo and it seems to be working. Also I set up Let's Encrypt and it seems to be working. Thanks for all your help!
  2. Ah, it was an email address issue! Thanks! After you brought it to my attention, I took a look and it turns out my forum account email address was out of date and needed updated anyway. So I updated it to match the hosting account email address and was able to create the account. The username is stewguy and the domain is stew.heliohost.us. The creation process is finished and it tells me that it might be two hours for that domain to be live but I'm guessing that it might be ready for the domain name change to stew.heliohost.org.
  3. Thanks, I got the email message. I must confess, when I went to handle the account I was interrupted by a loud sound I couldn't identify. When I came back, out of confusion and force of habit, I tried to log in with my email address (not username) and password instead of using the link first. It accepted the email/password and said "Already transferred to plesk" but did not actually log me in. Then I tried to use the link and it seemed to work but said stewguy wasn't available when I tried to pick my username. But the email message says you can use your old username. So I opened another browser separately in a private window, and tried to log in with my old username to see if I still had my username or someone else swiped it and it did the same "Already transferred to plesk" without logging me in. So there are either still remnants of my account username hanging around or more likely, I accidentally half-recreated my username by logging in with my email address. I'm not sure what using a different username would do at this point and I'm hesitant to try it. I guess... reset it again? Lol Sorry for messing things up
  4. Thanks. I think I would like that, if you're talking about the equivalent of the "wipe your account" option on the dashboard and if my stew.heliohost.org address could still be used
  5. Hi there, I finally got fed up with WordPress's clunkiness. After removing WordPress, my server is no longer opening php files. If I point to a .php file directly, it tries to download it instead of opening it. In fact, it does not seem to look for index.php files when going to a folder. It instead tries to open the bare directory, which, of course results in a 403 error. Phpinfo is also not working from the PHP configuration page, clicking on it just goes to a blank white page. Maybe the WordPress uninstall did not go well and broke something. I've backed up my folders and databases. I'm wondering if I should request the entire domain to be wiped clean and start all over. User account: stewguy Web address: stew.heliohost.org Anyone have advice?
  6. Hello there, my IP address on Tommy is still listed as 65.19.141.77 for the IPV4 address. Domain: stew.heliohost.org User: stewguy I do believe that I have the default domain name servers set for the domain, however I was not able to find out what they were for sure. Looked all over the place, maybe I'm just missing it.
  7. I mentioned this in my last thread. It seems that, since then, my preferred domain got set to the correct address (did someone change it, if so thanks!). However, the problem of the subdomain not bringing up what's in public_html still persists. Then I realized this is really a new topic, separate from the login issue, so I should've created a new thread for it. Web account name: stewguy Server: Tommy2 (Plesk) Subdomain: stew.heliohost.org (preferred subdomain is set to this) The https://stew.heliohost.org/ address brings up the default web server page instead of what's in public_html. This also goes to the default page: http://64.62.151.106/ This, however, actually brings up what's in public_html: http://64.62.151.106/plesk-site-preview/stew.heliohost.org/https/64.62.151.106/ Any thoughts on what could be going on? Maybe something is misconfigured regarding the name server?
  8. Hi wolstech, I got the link, reset the password, and was able to successfully log in, thanks! I've discovered another curiosity - seems the preferred domain on stew.heliohost.org has been somehow reset to "None" and is grayed out - I can't set it back to stew.heliohost.org. My files are all still there but I can only access them through the File Manager or from the Preview that uses the IP Address. Can you set the preferred domain back to stew.heliohost.org? Thanks! EDIT: I realize now I should have put the last paragraph in a separate topic/ticket. Sorry.
  9. I waited for the reactivation process to finish and it seems to have reactivated it. It took me to a login prompt anyway. This is what the page states when I try to log in: Unable to login with that username and password. Does the password need reset (I may have forgotten it or been entering it incorrectly) or do you think something else may be going on? Thanks, stewguy P. S. My web hosting account is on the Tommy server and is named: stewguy
  10. Yes, it is working for me now as well! I didn't change anything. It was just a matter of waiting for things on the server to settle down/be maintained I guess.
  11. Hi there, I moved to Plesk today. The other day, my Wordpress site was working. I moved and now there is a 503 service temporarily unavailable error. Perhaps it will take a while for all the services to get up to speed with my account being moved to Plesk? Perhaps something needs tweaked in my .htaccess file? I am able to load GIF files I have up and a plain html file without such an error. Do I just have to wait while a service undergoes maitenance?
  12. All right, the transfer was made successfully and apparently the SSL is working as well! I have a "503 - service temporarily unavailable" issue accessing my existing WordPress site but that is probably best asked in another thread. Thanks so much for your assistance in getting the account transferred!
  13. Hey, no problem! Makes sense, sounds good. So I have decided to donate. A few minutes ago, I donated to Helio Networks via PayPal with the transaction ID: 5227774790543922H My host account name is stewguy. My email associated with my account and my email associated with paypal are different. I put a donation note on the donation to confirm that the donation is for the existing Tommy account called stewguy. Thanks for your responses, they have been very helpful!
  14. Thanks very much wolstech! It all makes sense now. I just might donate a dollar or two to get the number down faster.
