Hi Throughout some of my php pages/scripts that I'm hosting on heliohost, I'm using the mail function of PHP. These basically send out confirmation emails to an event. It seems that these confirmation emails are being sent out randomly, even if the page/script that has the code in it isnt run, and this is 3-4 months after the event they are confirming. Doesnt look great! I was wondering if there is a cache or a memory that hte Mail function in PHP uses, and do I need to clear this out? Or is there a unix process or something that I can start/stop to get more control over the PHP mail function? It seems, but I havent fully confirmed this, that it might be linked to the issues we have with Stevie and each time Stevie recovers from a major problem, is it re-running core processes, etc. Any help, guidance or insight to this would be great. Hi I just tried to login to cpanel and it says my details are incorrect. I know I'm getting my password right. I have also asked to reset my password but havent got a confirmtion email with the code. Can you help? Mt details are: username: GentleOz BTW, my web site/pages are all there - havent tried to update database yet via the pages - I guess thats the next thing I'll try. Cheers Chris

I've fixed this....looks like a parameter I was passing to a method worked a few days ago - but now if you pass it lots of things break. The parameter was just to name the worksheet, which I can live without! but I gotta say - thats weird!

I have this problem aswell....at a time where you think server load should be low it still doesnt connect. Using Filezilla, it makes the initial connection (logs in) but then you get "Waiting for welcome message....." - which seems like server load but.....maybe its the FTP daemon?

Yes, done that...some method, like write, etc are working - some arent....weird

Hi I'm using the PEAR package Spreadsheet excel writer. I developed a spreadsheet that used lots of different methods and two days ago it was working. I tried it today and I'm getting errors of the hidescreengridlines method, the setMerge method and I'm sure there are others but I havent completely gone through it. I presume this may have something to do with all the other underlying issues that are happening ATM, so I'm really just letting you know - but I'd like it fixed as well please

Seem phpMyAdmin is work ATM...I'm accessing ftp via ftp.sdma.heliohost.org and that is working ATM too. I'm in Australia and during the day it seems to be OK - it drops out now and then. After 7pm local time (which is midnight PST) it is unaccessible. FYI local time here is 9:15am on Wednesday 2nd March. I open phpMyAdmin via cPanel - the url I current have for it is http://stevie.heliohost.org:2082/3rdparty/...6dbdc1f60cfd047

I presume this is all relateed to the problems you are currently experiencing, but I have been unable to FTP or launch phpMyAdmin for the last couple of days. I'm not hosting a web site really, just some pages in php accessing a mysql database. The pages seem to load fine, but cause I cant update the pages or administer the database I cant tell if things are doing what they should (I'm still in development mode). Just thought I'd let you guys know - which I'm sure you already know about. I'm being patient cause you cant really jump up and down about a free service that is fantastic is relation to what services you provide. username is sdma.heliohost.org
