  1. Hmm not too sure what might be causing this... Never had any issue before and nothing should have changed recently. Thanks for that. Time for me to do some digging to see whats going on there.
  2. Hey Team, Is there an issue with PHP on Stevie at the moment? If not could I get someone to have a quick look into my account when possible. I'm having an issue loading any and all php scripts. I can however still get to html and other resources. I did try another couple of websites I suspected to be on Stevie and use php but all appear fine so assume it's something with my account. I've emptied the .htaccess file and tested and still get the 500 error page. I even renamed my custom 500 page to make sure something wasn't playing up there and it being served all the time. Given I can see page visits in Google Analytics today and I've made no changes to the site I assume somethings gone wrong. Any help would be great Username: Arweth Server: Stevie Example pages: http://arweth.com - Index page throws error http://arweth.com/test.php - Basic script that should echo hello world http://arweth.dom/readme.html - Wordpress readme file loads being only HTML This is also effecting my parked domains with the same issues.
  3. I was wondering if it would be possible to have the mod_cloudflare included sometime in one of the future server builds. (I'm on Stevie just for the record) I use Cloudflare currently on all my sites so all the code that I use gets the real IP of the visitor when needed (though HTTP_CF_CONNECTING_IP var) however I tend to use .htaccess files during development that are filtered by IP's. This of course doesn't work when Cloudflare is involved as it's always Cloudflares IP that's checked in the rules of the htaccess. Another option however I haven't looked into it fully would be the Cpanel plugins for Cloudflare(This requires other work as it needs Cloudflare API keys and such) but allows people to signup and configure Cloudflare from Cpanel. This could be something worth looking at as the less requests that actually hit Heliohosts servers will reduce the load on them - it also protects from a lot of malicous attempts and spammers and such which is another plus. Anyway it's just a suggestion due to the fact that if implemented would be a lot of work for someone to actually do For reference mod_cloudflare can be found https://www.cloudflare.com/resources-downloads#mod_cloudflare EDIT: Realized this probably should have gone into Customer Service
  4. You will probably find this is an issue with Yahoo accounts as they changed their mail policies regarding email. Information on this is below http://yahoo.tumblr.com/post/82426971544/an-update-on-our-dmarc-policy-to-protect-our-users Is this happening for all emails that are sent or only for people using a @yahoo.com email address? I would take a guess and say that the issue would be a from address on the email is taken from the email address entered into the form and then sent via phpmail though the system accounts which causes the security checks to fail and the email is rejected and the above failure notice generated. As I understood this would only effect emails that had a from address of a Yahoo account but this may not be the case. Which would mean any emails sent to a Yahoo account that fails a check would be rejected however this will need testing to confirm. @Staff an announcement regarding Yahoos new policies may be helpful if the above is confirmed to be the case. Slight side note you can subscribe to a topic by clicking the "Follow this topic" button at the top of the page
  5. Taking a guess and knowing some of the PEAR modules I think hes trying to use GMail as the SMTP server so a process in a webpage or similar connects to GMails servers to send an email from a gmail account.
  6. Stevie's Cpanel is currently showing as unlicensed upon logging in the following message is supplied:
  7. How are you logging into cPanel? It is recommended that you use the form at the bottom (center) of HelioHost.org
  8. I thought the renew of the last login date came from the iFrame on the cPanel index page which points to the url http://www.heliohost.org/scripts/renew.php?fromcpanel=1&username=yourusername as this iFrame is still in the background of the cPanel page. As there the iFrame is used should it not matter where a login was sourced from as long as they all land on the same page? In this case the cPanel index page. Or are there other factors that affect this?
  9. When I first saw this post the script was returning 500 errors. At that time helionet was timing out to the point I gave up trying to login and this thread was locked for some reason. There appeared to be an issue with mysql and the engine not responding all the time. (My website was returning intermittent Error Establishing Database connection messages and took a few reloads over 5 to 10 minutes to get a repose of actual content rather than just the error). I would say this would have been the cause of the issues? And would there have been a reason for the mysql engines problems?
  10. Well for starters the terms and conditions state you are only supposed to have one account unless otherwise approved (Generally one on Stevie and one on Johnny if you needed Java)
  11. It should take 24hours normally but can take up to 48 hours in some cases such as high server load. If its been more than 48hours you will need to have an admin check things out.
  12. Generally Heliohost doesn't open ports that are not essential for the servers operation. I don't think I've seen a single request for ports to be opened on Heliohost approved yet. - Correct me if I'm wrong. But for that reason I assume that's why this was marked as solved.
  13. Ah of course sorry I didn't even think of that at the time. The sub-domain option should be in the same place on Johnny's Cpanel. Under the Domains category on the Cpanel homepage.
  14. I noticed that there seems to be something that runs somewhere on Charlie in either the Vm's or the machine itself that takes down HelioNet, HelioHost as well as Johnny and the NameServer 2. If you look at Piotr GRD's monitor you can see this happens quite frequently and can be annoying as all the front of heliohost and helionet completely disappears. One thing I thought of although I don't know how feasible it would be is to consider putting the forums (Helionet) on Stevie since he has been stable recently. This may not be a option due to the load the forums create but it was something that I thought may be a way to go to help with the up-time of the site. This could also be something done to the Heliohost site as well cause that goes down at the same time as Helionet which can be annoying for users or visitors who are unable to access the site. I was wondering if this is a feasible option and if it had been considered before or not or due to other factors such as load, resources available its not a option?
  15. Only recently upgraded from a old Dual Core with a failing BIOS (Would not remember any settings at all after the system powered off) But now I'm running : Asus P8Z77-V Pro http://www.asus.com/...155/P8Z77V_PRO/ Intel i7 3770K @ 3.5GHZ 8GB DDR3 Corsair Vengeance Ram @ 1600MHZ Win 7 x64 Pro ATI Radeon HD 5670 1GB - Little Dated but didn't have enough to replace it at the time 1TB for OS and Data, 2x 160GB, 80GB, 120GB (All SATA) and a 2TB External Drive I think the best part is I got it all at cost since I can buy Directly from a supplier with no Mark-up or Tax by extra companies. I also have a high performance Laptop http://www.asus.com/...tainment/N61Jq/ that I got when I moved as I couldn't take my desktop at the time still use it for lans and such since its quite high spec. Otherwise it goes where I go. But I think the thing I have that I like the most is a IBM xSeries 226 Server with the specs: CPU Intel Xeon 3.0 GHZ (Single core CPU, 2 Threads) (Code Name: Nocona) 4Gb DDR2 Ram 80Gb RAID 0 (Two 40GB drives) for the OS 140Gb RAID 0 (Two 70GB Drives) for Data Running Windows Server 2008 R2 DataCenter I use that to run A Webserver, Sql servers and 3 Minecraft Servers from my house.
