  1. So, how many times a day do your parents come to you to ask for your tech skills? Anything from "how do I get a txt message" to "help! The computer screen went blue!". We are growing up in a world where half of us know what we're doing and half of us don't, primarily the older generation. It is so taxing. Please feel free to chat and share techie stories and you experience.
  2. At any [point a person can make their own decisions. You don;t have to listen to anybody, even your parents. By listening you have already made a choice and by acting what they say, another. So it's all up to you and your choices.
  3. As long as I graduate college before it happens I have no problem xD
  4. You know what? I've had that same thought, but the more you think about it, the more it freaks you out. Live for the moment...or dream I suppose.
  5. hmmm...maybe you are the imagined one and I am real
  6. Maybe they would pay more for hissing roaches xD
  7. OMG...I know all the tech specs....I want it so bad!!!
  8. I don't use vista, however, I just bought my mom a laptop that has it because it was the OS. Meaning that I do use it, but it's not on my personal comp. I'm the techie in my family and therefore in charge of computer matinence and repairs. I can very easily say from personal expirience that vista is just a spiffed up version of the perfectly fine Xp OS, but it takes up the entire drive. If you run anything else but a word processor, expect some extremly slow running time. Also, if you are new at computers (my mom) then having all the frills means nothing if you don't know how to use it. Personally, I'm a mac freak.
