i took a web programming class in school, but we only covered it for about a month. one of the main reasons i joined this site was so i could get reacclimated with it. it's a pretty easy language once you learn some of it's annoying tendencies. (i wish i could elaborate on that, but it's been so long since i've used PHP that i forget what the annoying tendencies were! )

i see. i didn't mean it as a dig. when is usually most active part of the day? i'm not usually on my computer at home because i'm in front of one all day at work.

i have no idea, really. i just want to mess around with PHP and MySQL, and see what happens. i want to make a fantasy football site at some point, but it will never happen because the licensing fees for NFL stats are so expensive. other than that, i dunno. are these forums always so inactive? a lot of the new posts are kind of old.

drums and bass guitar. i can kind of play the piano.

my computer is terrible, so i don't have any cool games for it. i'm thinking about building a new one, and if i do, i'm definitely going to get at least half life 2, if not the entire orange box. but my computer's so old and crappy it won't run anything. the last games i played on my computer were half life and quake 3.

definitely. it's the best movie so far because the book was the best (at the time). there's just a lot of stuff going on. the only thing i don't like about it (or any of the other movies) is harry is always way too angry all the time

i'm a little biased because i only have a wii. i love it. i got my parents to get one, and they haven't played video games since the NES. i'm really looking forward to super mario galaxy, and smash bros brawl shortly after.

yeah, because no fat kids play the 360 or PS3 if you wanted to lose weight and liked to play video games, the wii would be a great choice. i don't think that it's that physical, but i guess once you have one for long enough the novelty of getting into sports games gets old and you figure out how to play sitting down. (my little sisters is a amazing at wii sports golf, and she does it by just flicking her wrist... it's nauseating)

i'm thinking about building a computer, but i've never done it before. it's pretty simple picking out the components and such, but i need help with the power supply. how do you choose the right one?

howdy, just joined. figured i'd try out the free web hosting thing. i don't belong to many forums, so i'm really a n00b in many ways. i'm chachi. 23 years old, from pittsburgh, pa. i like the steelers, video games (looking forward to super mario galaxy), movies (all kinds), music (all kinds, favorite being 3rd wave ska), and i like reading (sci-fi, fantasy stuff).
