Ok I fixed it by doing the "delete, recreate, and reassign permissions for your database users" thing mentioned under "News" in the control panel main page.

Can you check my database to see if it's ok. I can't access it through phpmyadmin, it just goes to a blank page once I log in. In mysql databases it shows as "The MySQL server is currently offline."

The blog hasn't been updated since a few months ago so the krydos restore version should be fine. I think my account name is waigy and the database name is waigy_blog

I had "error establishing database" for a few days. I managed to get it working again using help that I found in this forum by deleting my database username and creating a new user. But during my time trying to sort the problem I went into phpmyadmin and imported an sql file which seemed to sort some errors, but it's an old sql file so the blog is now outdated. I have newer backups as xml files and also have backups of my whole site by ftp which includes the whole blog folder. What's the best way to get the latest blog back?

Can any moderator look at this again please.

As I mentioned the email problem I had has been sorted by me changing my password so there won't be a spam problem anymore. Can you unsuspend my account please?

Yesterday morning I suddenly started getting masses of emails all saying the same thing so I changed my password for my emails and also my heliohost password and after a few hours and getting over 900 emails they stopped.

1.Username : waigyuk 2. Server : Stevie 3. Domain : craighood.com I had a spam email problem yesterday (which has gone away) so I changed my password for heliohost. I can't login with that password anymore. I just tried resetting the password a few times. The first few times I put the confirmation code in nothing happened and now resetting the password doesn't send a confirmation code email.

Thanks. I moved the site to a different host about 3 hours ago. I will see how it goes and maybe move back to heliohost.

Every page on my new site takes a very long time to load, usually between 10 and 30 seconds. This has not changed since I built the site. Also making edits to my blog takes the same amount of time. Is this a dns issue? theshapists.heliohost.org

Ok thanks ice it support, the backup wizard works much faster than backing up with ftp (when it worked). I'm still concerned that my ftp isn't working and I found out via Krydos that using ftp might be triggering a 20 minute ban. I'll have to wait till my next site update to see how ftp works for uploading changes.

For a few days now i haven't been able to backup my site with ftp. It downloads for about 1 minute then I get a disconnect or cant connect to server. Usually after that happens I can't access my control panel, view my website or sometimes the heliohost home page doesnt open. I recently upgraded to windows 7, but I'm still getting the same results with my previous vista install which uses different anti virus and firewall settings. I'm using filezilla, I tried core ftp and got the same results.
