  1. This is starting to sound like I just have a slow internet connection, which I already knew. Maybe there's a setting that will allow my home computer to wait longer before timing out the connection. Thank you both for your help troubleshooting!!!
  2. @Krydos: I'm totally floored, but it works on my cell phone (with wifi turned off). Is it a cache issue? I just tried the "classic login" from heliohost.org and it failed. @wolstech: That link failed in my browser still.
  3. Hello, I was told that my account on Ricky was created and I could log in. I was able to log in and view the available tools on "https://www.heliohost.org/login/" However, when I click "Continue to cPanel" I am continually getting "This site can’t be reached ricky.heliohost.org took too long to respond" with an error "ERR_CONNECTION_TIMED_OUT" I've tried reloading the page, I've tried reentering my login information, but I keep getting the same error page. This is unexpected from a production server. What am I doing wrong? This is an old HelioNet account. My HelioHost account is fldstn.
  4. Thank you!! I changed my password on the account and enabled Apache SpamAssasin, although I would guess that scans messages in inboxes, not as they arrive. I do not digitally store or write down my passwords anywhere; all are memorized. There are no email accounts set up and so no other access to the account as far as I know. The last scan that my home computer ran (a couple days ago) came back clean. I removed all Comcast email address from receiving forwarded emails, although I think that's the symptom and not the cause. Still it will hopefully make your life easier until I can figure out how to block incoming spam emails. Please let me know if there are any other preventive measures I can take.
  5. Yes, I haven't been able to log in so maybe that was the problem...? I reset the password and got a confirmation code that seemed to have worked, but now I don't have any info on what my new password is. Does it get sent in a separate email? My account has now been suspended or deleted again. I thought maybe just inactive because we've been working through this spam thing for a while, but the renew script from HelioHost said "we either could not find that account in the database, or it is not listed as inactive". I don't know if I need to start a new topic, but this is horrible timing for me. Without the DNS support from this account, our website is down, which is effecting our major fundraising event that we are currently promoting. We are a non-profit school and we really need the participants and sponsors to be able to sign up online. I know this isn't on you at all, I'm just panicking a little. I would appreciate any help. THANKS!!!!
  6. Thank you for Solving my account issue. I am a little confused about how to prevent this from happening again, though, and I hope you have time to answer my questions. I do not use WordPress, Joomla or ANY CMS as all my content is stored on Weebly. I have not installed any plugins. The only things I have set up on cPanel are the mail forwarders, mail MX records, a subdomain, and some records in the advanced DNS settings. Is there a cPanel default which I need to change to prevent this kind of malware? Or do you mean that anyone who sends me an email that goes through my mail forwarders could potentially install malware on my account?? Thanks for your advice. I really hope there are preventive measures I can take
  7. WOW. I am completely flabbergasted. Those are definitely spam and definitely not from my organization. I'm really sorry if there's something in my account that has allowed for this. Is there a way for me to block these from using my domain?!?!
  8. Wow, that's crazy. I haven't even set up an email account in cPanel. Oh, I set up Forwarders though, does that count toward "spam"??

    Password Reset

I couldn't find anything about this on the wiki so it's probably very simple, but I'm having trouble resetting my password. I followed the link on the cPanel login screen to reset the password. I received the email with my confirmation code. I put the code in the confirmation code field. Then my browser reloaded the confirmation code field page. I tried going to the cPanel home page, but it says my session cookie is invalid, so it looks like I'm not logged in. There are no further instructions. There is no "Here's your new password" email or anything. How do I log in now? Any ideas?
  13. I'm certain it was "fldstn" but I tried to reactivate "fsps" as you suggested. I got the same message that it isn't in the database. Then I tried a few other ideas, but none seemed to be found in the database. So I created a new account and it worked fine. Thank you for looking into it. I haven't had any trouble with HelioHost before this, so it seems very odd for the account to have disappeared. Whatever happened, I'd like to make sure I don't make the same mistake again. Please let me know if you have any ideas on what might have happened. Thank you!!
  14. *bump* Can I please have some information about my account?
  15. a. fldstn b. stevie c. fieldstationkids.org I was notified this afternoon that the website is down. When I tried to log in to see if there was a problem, I got the message "We're sorry, but we could not find that username in the database." I checked my email and apparently I missed the message sent July 20 that said my account was being suspended. I'm certain that I just logged in July 10th, so that's probably why I missed the email notice... Now when I try to renew with the script, I get the message "We're sorry, but we either could not find that account in the database, or it is not listed as inactive. Please contact an administrator if you feel this message is in error." Please advise. We are a non-profit organization and some of our members need access to information and forms, as well as the fact that we are a school and the school year is starting soon! Thank you for your help!
