  1. Say like... Well I really can't tell... Things like "when" are not as predictable as it used to be... My best estimate is to like say in 3 months time... However, for all I know it could be not until next year, right now it's unpredictable but 3 months at most. Really? Well I'm sure you can request more space and bandwidth WHEN and IF your forum becomes that big. I personally do not believe any forum will grow to use that much space and bandwidth in a mere 3 months' worth of time...
  2. We have very very good evidence in favour of evolution. I find it very hard to believe that it is all a fabrication of sorts. Not to mention, we OBSERVE evolution in our day to day lives! For example: Did you get a flu last year? And did you get one this year, again? Well, how on Earth?! You can only get one strain of disease ONCE, yet you clearly got the flu twice... Therefore, the only logical explanation is that the flu's strain signature CHANGED by EVOLVING (not by Magic, I can assure you that!), and your immune system had no immediate counter to it.
  3. Listen up 1: Swearing is all fine and dandy but not when every sentence you say involves a swear word. It gets a bit testy. 2: The big ban theory states that BEFORE life there was only one atom of sorts. think of it as a super unstable dense molecule and due to its instability it "exploded". The term exploded can be misleading as it doesn't necessarily imply that it was a violent explosion but leans more to it disintegrated and expanded into the current universe. life as we know it then started a couple of millions (if not billions) of years AFTER that. You're pretty much correct, and I just want to add that it's indeed billions of years after the Big Bang that the Earth was even formed (It's an estimated 4.6 billion years old), and billions of years after that that life even appeared! Yes, essentially a super being of some sort that caused the entire thing to happen... Perhaps even an experiment of sorts. In fact, there's an interesting web-site that argues FOR the fact that we live in some sort of "Matrix"-like simulation! Check it out here: www.simulation-argument.org It is directed by an Oxford University professor, so you can be rested assured that the arguments are well formulated and well worth your reading time.
  4. What about agnosticism? Not a religion per se, more of a belief that there perhaps is a greater being out there. I think he's referring to the system of categorizing "paganism". Also, I don't think using Wikipedia as a source is very reliable, as it's usually open to interpretation as to the meaning of the article due to various writing inconsistencies that are not enforced.
  5. I'm from Canada . But... honestly, who are the four people that voted for Antarctica ?
  6. Hi gang, I can't believe I still can't get Python to work. I followed the instruction pretty darn clearly (after all, how hard can it be to add a Shebang line and plunk the file into the cgi-bin folder?!), yet the server keeps on me a Internal Server Error (500) as follows: My file is simply called processing.py and it "should" be accessible by using www.mse.heliohost.org/cgi-bin/processing.py, but it's not. Any ideas? Or did I set something up incorrectly? Do I have to fiddle around with the .htaccess file to give access to anything in particular? Or anything I might have missed? Etc. I'm at my wit's end, help!
  7. You know, being a bit more "specific" and telling us just exactly what the error is might help. Just a thought .
  8. Wow, that's actually a pretty handy list, thanks! Now if I run into any script errors, I can do a quick Ctrl + F to see if the function even exists .
