#154768 [Answered] Spaceship (<=>) operator not working on PHP7.2 (ea-php72)

Posted by wolstech on 07 December 2018 - 06:27 PM

I don't see the required directives anywhere in your .htaccess files...it looks like you may have replaced the cPanel generated .htaccess with a custom file, which will in fact cause PHP to switch to 5.6 (the system default). cPanel itself doesn't check the file to determine what you picked, so if you pick a version in cP, then modify or replace the .htaccess file manually afterwards, the version shown in cP and the version actually used can defer.

Try changing it to 5.6, then back to 7.2 in cPanel to regenerate the required directives. Note that while it shouldn't, there's a possibility this may break or delete your custom .htaccess file.

Unsuspended.

#154163 [Answered] About the 30 days activation

Posted by wolstech on 19 November 2018 - 10:44 AM

The account's owner has to log into cpanel to keep it from getting suspended, and if the account gets suspended, the site stops working until it's renewed. After some additional time, the account gets archived.

The data is only deleted if we run out of disk space. In this scenario, the accounts that have been archived the longest are deleted. The time needed for that to occur varies by server, but is usually a year or more unless we have a hardware failure.

#153905 [Solved] Suspended: lensoft (lensofts)

Posted by wolstech on 08 November 2018 - 08:04 PM

That account exists and is not suspended.

It is worth noting that /var being full does break most websites and completely breaks cPanel. As a result, your account may not function properly until the disk space issues are corrected.

#153791 [Solved] How to deploy webswing applications on helionet tomcat server

Posted by wolstech on 03 November 2018 - 02:52 PM

Krydos would know whether this can be supported or not. Let's have him take a look.

I suspect it's not going to work though considering webswing's site suggests it runs its own server process.

#153695 Change main domain

Posted by wolstech on 26 October 2018 - 05:01 PM

The domain on account omphi has been changed to snesup.heliohost.org.

Account usernames cannot be changed. If you really want to change it, you will need to delete your account and sign up again.

#153691 [Solved] Need help

Posted by wolstech on 26 October 2018 - 03:43 PM

You can't force it back to the parent domain because you'll create an infinite loop.

The fun part though is that www. is a perfectly valid subdomain  :P Just redirect domain.com to www.domain.com and configure www with custom name servers. It may act a bit odd on our end (e.g. you may need to use it as your main domain), but it should work until you can transfer the domain.

#153629 [Solved] Tommy Need Help With SSL (ASP.NET)

Posted by wolstech on 23 October 2018 - 11:18 AM

For others who read this, it can take 24 hours for the SSL to start working after you add or change a domain on a Tommy or Ricky account. In addition, the account must allow plain HTTP connections to the .well-known folder which appears in the docroot for the domain (if you use .htaccess or similar to force HTTPS, an exception must be added for this folder or the redirect must be removed).

#153207 [Solved] Renewed from Suspended

Krydos has to install asp.net again for you. Let's have him to do that...

#153178 [Solved] account suspended due to inactivity

Posted by wolstech on 01 October 2018 - 06:36 PM

I just took a deeper look. There's two issues here. First, you're not on Johnny like you thought. You're actually on Tommy and can be unarchived :) Second, your username is not divyansj, it's just divyans.

Unarchiving...

#153169 Free Domain Requests (400 Posts Required)

Posted by wolstech on 01 October 2018 - 11:57 AM

HelioHost offers free 1 year registration on domains for users who are active users of our service and productive members of our community  :)

To get a domain registered, you must have the following qualifications:
1) You must have been a member of HelioNet for at least three months.
2) You must have at least 400 posts. No Exceptions!

For every new domain or domain renewal (domains must be renewed yearly) you request, you must have 400 posts. For instance, you may register a single free domain when you have 400 posts, but you will have to have another 400 posts (for a total of 800 posts) in order to renew it the following year. Similarly, if you want to register a second domain you will need to have at least 800 posts, assuming you haven't yet renewed your first domain.

If you have met the above requirements, you may initiate a free domain request here.

Make sure that this domain has not been registered yet! To do this, execute a simple WhoIs search for your desired domain.

Include the following information in your thread:
1) Your full legal name
2) Your email
3) Your home street address
4) Your city, state/province (if applicable), zip/postal code, and country of residence
5) A daytime phone number where you can be reached, including country code (+1 for the USA)
6) Your organization (if applicable)

7) The domain you want to register.
8) The HelioHost account you want this domain to be pointed to.

All the above information is required due to ICANN restrictions.

If you are uncomfortable posting this information on our forum, please PM it to a Root Admin and post in this topic letting us know that it has been sent by PM so we can check our PMs for it. Be advised, however, that WHOIS information is public, and anybody can look up your information by running a WHOIS search on your domain.

Seems to be working fine at the moment. It was definitely down earlier, but has come back up on its own.

#153004 [Solved] Tommy Accounts Inactive

It looks like most if not all of the sites on tommy are showing that. The server is broken.

Escalating to Krydos.
