HelioHost Posted March 6, 2017 Posted March 6, 2017 Dear HelioHost, I've just known that there's a free hosting like yours. It's awesome! I'm sending you this email because I have no idea where to contact the party I'd like to ask to. Sorry for the inconvenience. So, I figured out that one website you hosted can't be accessed anymore: http://hajjpracticalities.heliohost.org while I used it a lot as the reference for the reportage of hajj pilgrimage in my blog and some chapters referred to this website as well. I did quite long research in the past before finding that this website is the most complete hajj guide in English. I'm pretty sure it's very useful for many other Muslims. I wish I could save all of the contents I tried to save the cached pages if any, but no result. Could you please help me to connect to the website creator? or at least an information about what's going on to this website. I assumed it's not caused by expired domain or hosting issue since you provide the free service. Anyway, I need an answer. Thank you so much in advance. Sincerely,-- -----------------------------------------------------Ega Dioni PutriOwner at SMS DiolabsFB: egadioniputri | Twitter: creativegahttp://egadioniputri.wordpress.com
Krydos Posted March 6, 2017 Posted March 6, 2017 It looks like that account was located on our Johnny server. On 2016-09-14 Johnny began having issues, and on 2016-09-20 we put that server into a backup-only mode where all of the data was still available to the owners of the accounts, and they could log in to FTP and download their backups whenever they wanted. Then on 2016-12-07 after 85 days of providing backups we wiped the remaining data and rebuilt the server. So if the owner of the site in question downloaded his backups during that 85 days then all he needs to do is recreate his website, and upload his backups. We do have his contact information on file, but our privacy policy prevents us from giving this information to you. I have however sent him an email with a link to this conversation. wolstech Posted March 6, 2017 Posted March 6, 2017 To add to krydos, the archive.org link he posted also has the site's contact page available. It can be seen in the left side bar of the archived site.
